Any trouble making the 8:15am meet for the AK Backstage Safari tour from BCV?

Hi all,
My husband and I are staying at the BCV and are concerned about getting to the AK for the Backstage Safari tour. We are supposed to get there by 8:15am. Does anyone know if busses are running that early from BCV or would we be better getting one from Epcot - I hear that is within walking distance. Thanks!

There are busses that run that early for the character breakfasts. I would make sure I get to the bus stop by about 7:30 though, there are not as many busses running at that time of morning.

As far as Epcot goes, they will not let you in the international gateway until the park opens unless you have a breakfast reservation at PSB. Even if they did you would have to walk through the park to the front.

Your best option might just be a cab.

When DH and I went on the Backstage Animal Safari this past June, we were staying at the Swan (which is on the BCV bus loop). We ran into a problem not with the buses, but with the early magic hour at AK.

Although we left the hotel and caught the first bus (at about 7:20, as I recall), when we arrived at AK, the security lines were sooooo loooooong that we almost didn't make it to the safari on time.

They don't have a special security line for Backstage Safari-ers. It was very frustrating.

So, if I were you, I'd look on the operating schedule to see if there is an early magic hour at AK that day. If there is, I'd catch the earliest bus possible, so that you don't miss the safari (it was GREAT!). JMO.

Good luck!

I think I would opt for the cab, there is no guarantee that BCV busses will get you there on time. Nothing worse than getting all stressed out before you even really start the day. If you hava car it is the easiest park to self park at.

higher a cab!! you are guaranteed to get there on time. We did this once, we got caught at the Contemporary late at night, and were trying to get to VWL, Mk was closed, boats had stopped running, so we had to either take the monorail to the TTC, then wait for a bus to VWL, or take the bus to DTD, and get another bus to VWL, we highed a cab for $5.00 and were home within 3 minutes!!!
