Any tips on viewing spots for Halloween Screams/PtN/Disneyland Forever for my party of 32?

My husband's entire family is headed to DLR in two weeks and I'm the chosen planner. (Because with 32 of us, someone had to be in charge, and I'm the Disney fanatic!)

I feel like I have at least a 60% handle on things, but the parade/firework seating is still stressing me out. You were all such help with parking that I'm coming back to you with more questions!

So, there are 32 of us. The adults are all in decent shape with the oldest among us being 60. Sitting or standing or whatever isn't going to affect us. We do however, have an abundance of small children. There are 17 kids between the ages of 15 and two months. Five of those kids are one... so sitting and waiting for hours isn't ideal. Also, I don't want to spend a ton of time waiting when we have so little time. In the past we've sat down about 45 minutes to an hour early and then sent foragers to gather us food and we eat while we wait. But there were eight less of us last time we went. ;)

We only have one full day at Disneyland, plus the Halloween party. My current plan is to do Halloween Screams on the party night and then PtN and DF on the full day we have there. Feel free to critique that if you'd like if you think that a party night would be better for PtN. We're missing Fantasmic, and none of us have seen it BUT I just don't think we can make it work.

In terms of the PtN, I think you're going to have to devote a lot of time to waiting for it if you want a front row spot along the route for that many people. Curb spots fill up anywhere from about an hour to two hours in advance of the parade, so if you wanted to have all 32 of you together, I think you're going to have to devote a good chunk of time to get there early enough to find that much space. I've seen people waiting for the parade as soon as Soundsational ends. I think you'll have better luck if you're willing to double or triple up (i.e., need fewer curb/front row spots).

I would definitely do Halloween Screams on your MHP night because that is a party exclusive. I would have a hard time spending 1 to 2 hours waiting for PtN during MHP, but reports have indicated that the crowd is less for PtN at MHP compared to non-MHP nights (you'll still need to give up 1 to 2 hours of the party time for a front row spot for 32 people).

To see F! (assuming it's a two showing night), you could watch PtN and then DL and then after they end, head straight for the F! viewing area. You'll probably end up with a non-prime F! spot, but as long as you have a FP for the second show, you'll be able to get into the viewing area.

If you do a second showing of PTN you could snag a spot near IASW without waiting too long
