We are going to DL in late June and I will be almost four months pregnant at the time. Any tips on how to manage and make the trip enjoyable?

Plan nap breaks at the hotel. Take advantage of all the entertainment/shows as a time to sit down and recharge. Drink your water! Remember that the restaurants with pop fountains will give you a free cup of ice water. The first aid station has a great filtered water fountain, with cups. Eat small snacks and meals regularly- dont get over hungry. There are tons of rides that are safe for you to ride- enjoy them!

Take it easy and just enjoy it at your speed. you can ride almost everything, of course skipping out the bouncy rides and coasters.

I've been to DL while pg twice and both times had a fabulous time.

If possible bring a towel for the parades so you have something to sit on and to "mark" your spot : ) (it's likely you'll have to excuse yourself for the ladies room and want to make sure your space doesn't disappear!)

Also, bring whatver food you need in case you feel ill. (crackers, ginger, etc.)

Congrats!

I too went to DL at 4 mos. preg and had a great time I rode all the easy rides which is a lot:) and of course got to do alot of shopping for the baby:cutie:

I haven't done DL pregnant, but I did the Mall of America! I think the two most important things to remember are to stay hydrated (lots and lots of water!) and sit and rest often.

I had only 1 day at the mall, and was determined to see everything I was interested in. I didn't sit when I should have, and didn't carry water with me, so didn't drink enough water. I wound up having mild contractions that finally made me sit, but every time I got up after that they came back quicker. :sad2:

Just take it easy, and head back to the hotel if you feel tired.

i did dl while 8 months pregnant! sat down a lot, but did have a great time!! we just took it easy, and didn't really stress over having to be anywhere at any certain time. our DS was 2 1/2 at the time, so whatever ride he wanted to go on, i was ok riding. and if i didn't feel like it, DH went in w/him. :flower:

Thanks for all the help and advice! I'm sure I'll have a blast with my dh and three year old. My dh is basically a "pregnant rider" b/c he has motion sickness.
