any tips on some good video editing software

I have a mIni DV Camera and I wanted to know if there was any good editing software out there besides Microsoft movie maker. thanks.

We use Vegas Video here. It has a couple different levels of the software from home user to more professional.

Does "good" to you mean quick and easy, or feature rich with manual controls?

I use Ulead VideoStudio. Powerful enough to do some cool stuff and easy enough to understand. Even better you can try before you buy and won't have to sell your firstborn when you do purchase it.

I like Adobe Premiere Elements so far, after two weeks of playing with it.

Adobe Premiere is a little advanced and costly but if you can find a copy of Video Explosion Deluxe (little older) it works very well with MiniDV cams.
