Any tips on how to get a dream?

We won lanyards at two different locations - - would love the fastpass!

Everyone send some pixie dust my way, taking DD to the park for her first time tommorow. She lives with her dad, so this is really special for us.

I talked to my daughter about this, (4 years old) and she said she would start to cry with GLEE (yes that is the word she used) if she ever won ANYTHING!!!

Does anyone know if anyone has ever won on mailing in their name and number??? I have done that now one every day for 2 months...

A while back, I read a thread on here written by a guy who won a DVC membership via mail.

We saw them at the Land...awarded the Castle Stay. All my son got was a nice photo!

The castle stay is also awarded between 9:30 and 11:30. It could be awarded at any park, downtown Disney, and I believe the water parks.

I gotta be honest we wouldn't care what it was as long as we won something! Anything extra or a "surprise" would be great and just make my kids day!

IN August of 07, at MGM (DHS), we received the Dream fastpasses. We were in the library (the preshow room) on the TOT. When the door opened to go to the next phase of the ride, a dream team member walked in and told us that our rooms in the hotel were not ready yet. She apologized and told us that we must take these dream fastpasses as compensation! All of the people in the room received the fastpasses! My ds (12) who dreamed of winning a dream, was ecstatic!

Last Sept. we didn't win any "official" dreams (nor did we see any given out) but we had a few special moments anyway.

At AK, late in the morning, after getting off KRR and having a ice cream before going into Maharajah Jungle Trek we saw some CMs off to the (left)side. They approached my DD8 and asked if she wanted to play a recycling game. She did. They tried to get other guests to play but no one else would. So my DSis and I played too. Basically we threw empty plastic bottle into a basket. The one with the most in won. But then we were all given special Disney recycling pins and a certificate. They called it Recycle Basketbottle and the certificate was presented by the DAK Custodial Team.

So if you are walking by and see some CM's with some empty plastic bottles and a basket go on over and play. You'll get a really nice pine and a certificate.

Just be at the right place at the right time. Nothing else really matters -- they have a specified place & time to hand out their dream-- you just need to be there!! Don't stress about it, you'll make yourself sick

It *is* stressful!! I'm not even there yet and I'm already setting myself up for disappointment. I know, I'm the only weirdo hoping this is going to end!
