I planned a trip for the week before Easter (April 4-10), knowing that this is one of the busiest times of year at WDW. So, I'm only planning one day there (Epcot on a Tuesday), one (or two, if they have the free second day) day at Seaworld and one day at Typhoon Lagoon. After reading a few comments on how awful crowds are at Easter, I'm beginning to get cold feet.
I'd love any suggestions on how to minimize fighting the crowds. I'm worried because the only other time we've been was early Dec. and I think we may be spoiled, and totally unprepared!

We know how you feel. We booked our honeymoon for the 5-10 of April after we set the date of April 4th. We just figure it's the World and there are always going to be people. Just have fun with it. But I hope there are some suggestions.:earsgirl: :earsboy:

We always go to Disney during Spring Break. Our kids are older now - both in HS. We don't fight the crowds --- depending on the age of your kids ---- we relax during the day by the pool -- our kids do Disney Quest or go to the parks. We meet up with them later (early evening) --- remember, the parks are open later. Most of the younger kids are tired & exiting the parks when we are arriving. Also, it's not as hot & we enjoy a nice dinner together & shorter waits for attractions.

If you go to Typhoon Lagoon, be sure to get there early. This past Easter week, it was closed by 11:00 am because of crowds. We go every Easter week because of DS's school break, and although its quite crowded, with planning you can see and do everything you want. We love to go back to the parks after the afternoon parades (after the "strollers" have left).

We were there the week leading up to easter sunday in 2003....we had the same reservations about going during this time as well...we were pleasantly suprised!!! Although it was crowded, with the use of EMH and especially Fastpass', we found the week to be extremely manageable and enjoyable....the water parks were the only real exception; they were packed and stayed that way all day....

we were there easter 2003 and really had no problems with crowds. it was a last minute trip with no planning and made ps's when we were there. no problems what so ever.
