Any tips for next summer?

I am planning our trip for next June or July to Disneyland (DVC member with that 11 month booking window!). We have always gone in late May or the first week of June. Due to school schedules and such, we are looking at the last week of June or any time during summer 2013. As the Annual Pass schedule for blockout dates and Grad Nights/Days are not listed yet for Summer 2013, I am hoping to get some info from seasoned summer goers about crowds etc during peak times. We just got back a few weeks ago and would like to avoid Grad Nights if possible. We had 3 of 7 days with them and found they really impacted our trip. We have three little ones under 6 years old. We as most wish to avoid huge crowds if possible. Are there any lulls in the last week of June, is July just crazy every day, would last week of June be any better then any week of July? What are typical wait lines like? We go in the beginning of December often, are July waits similar to early December days? Any guesses on blackout days for 2013? Any help appreciated!!!

Next summer's crowds won't be as crazy as this year because there won't be anything that's new and big opening. Last week of June might be a little more crowded than July because the APs don't tend to be blocked out yet, but next year's difference between the two times won't be nearly as drastic as this year.

July you're looking at maximum peak wait times for the major attractions (Space, Indy, Soarin, ToT) of 60-90 min during the busiest times of the day. For the bookends of the day (mid-morning, later in the evening), though, those rides should only have lines of 30-45 min.

Lines for Pirates, HM, Jungle Cruise, Buzz, Ariel's Undersea Adventure are looking more like 20-30 min for most of the day.

Of course the best tip is to get there early when no rides have any lines! :thumbsup2

We are also hoping for a trip to DL next July 2013. It will be our first visit to DL(we are WDW vets). I will be watching what the avg temps are for July next month just to get an idea. I am starting to look at the differences of staying our fist time at the DLH or HOJO's. We were planning for this summer but put it on hold because of the opening of Carsland. I now know it was a smart decision from the crowd reports.
