I think all church services in the area are free. (you can just pretend to put money in the collection plate) I'm not sure who has the loudest bells though
If you are missing the point to that comment - then so am I
I second the idea for "Sweet Tomatoes". before our trip last year, I signed up for their email club, and was sent a discount coupon to print out almost immediately. I food was delish, healthy, and plentiful. It's a short distance away from WDW by car. We will be going again this year for sure.
Right outside of MK is a Hess gas station. They have very good pizza. $8.00 for a large one topping pizza. They have a nice cafe area with tables and chairs. One trip we got 4 hotdogs, bag of combo's and two 20 oz pops for a total of $7.35. It bets paying for the hotdog meal at Casey Corner in the MK which will cost you close to $10 a person and comes with no drink.
They sell made to order subs, grilled chicken sandwiches, a few different mexican items, whole pizza's or pizza by the slice.
There is a Qdoba on the corner of Palm Pkwy and 535 ( right around the corner from DTD). And just down the road from there is a Steak and Shake.
I may be wrong, but think that poster was having fun with the title of this thread which reads "dinning" not "dining." The gerund form of "din" is "dinning" and is used to mean a loud noise or a cacophony. So some church bells could be considered to be "dinning." (Although, really, why anyone would need to use the gerund form of this word is beyond me as "din" functions perfectly well as a noun or a verb on its own, so one should presume that if one sees "dinning" it is simply "dining" misspelled, no?)
First we probably need to ask what you think of as affordable. The budget board can pop up varying answers. For example for some folks "affordable" means packing lunch and bringing it with them. For me affordable is probably along the lines of "chain" restaurants.
Now right outside of Downtown disney is a shopping plaza called "the crossroads". Next to the Goodings grocery store is a pizza joint, I can't remember the name but it was good pizza at darn good prices.
We've had Flippers delivered to OKW. It's the best pizza I've ever had in the state of Florida (well maybe not counting Via Napoli but that's not really the same thing).
I'm currently signing up for all the loyalty programs I can find in the area...Panera bread, logans roadhouse, smokey bones, joes crab shack, ihop, cici's, etc. We are going to WDW for my birthday, so not only will they send an offer for joining, but also a birthday reward coupon. Score! Rainforest Cafe has a club (you pay $25 to join but you get a $25 credit, you also get a birthday reward there too...) So if one of your birthdays is in the month you are going, you can save a ton on eating outside the parks.

Yes that's a good call. And if you have a smartphone most of those places will accept the barcode right from the mobile device so you can skip printouts altogether and still get good deals. Less hassle. I believe Sweet Tomatoes sends out coupons nearly every week to their email club.
Before our last trip, I bought a restaurant.com certificate at 80% off at Giodornos. We all LOVED it and saved a ton of money with the coupon.
Also, check out Golden Corral. When you walk in, look near the exit doors where the free magazines are (real estate, etc...). There is an Orlando coupon book on one of the racks with lots of B1G1F and % off coupons for places to eat that are near WDW. We didn't discover the coupon book until we were leaving Golden Corral. There was a B1G1F coupon in the book hat we could have used for our dinner.
TKB just a warning about Rain Forest Café. We just returned from WDW last week and dined there. We were extremely disappointed with the food . We had a 50.00 GC someone had given us which is why we ate there as we had not heard great things about it. The prices are quite expensive and the portions and quality of food leaves a lot to be desired. There were only 3 of us dining and our bill was 72.00 before the tip. My daughter and I had sandwiches and my husband had a meal which looked more like and appetizer and 3 cokes. We had no appetizer or dessert. I suggest taking your money and go somewhere else where you will at least get your money's worth.

32830 is the zip code for WDW. There were two coupons for Giodarno's and I mistakenly chose one a little farther away because I didn't realize that two locations were listed. I used google maps to pull up the driving directions and the realized my mistake. I called and canceled the certificate, got a credit or the amount and then went back to the website and purchased the one at the location I wanted.
So check the address on Google Maps to make sure it's close.
