Any tips for bringing a 6 1/2 month old??

Ok, we are going to Disney in December. After talking to my Aunt this weekend, she was saying how her DH wants to take their new grandbaby to Disney before he dies. He is under 40 but has lived through two very serious cases of cancer (colon and lung) and is in remission right now.

I love my Aunt and my Uncle. The baby was just born about 2 weeks ago. I know he won't remember the trip but my Uncle will. I told my Aunt he has another 20 yrs to take him but they are welcome to come this time. They will stay wiht us in our room. We have a 2 bed booked but only had 5 people coming. Now our room is full.

I have never brought a baby to Disney or traveled with anyone who had a baby. My DS was just barely 2 when we went but out of diapers so we were good there.

What is a must bring into the parks? I know she'll need a stroller since the park ones just won't work for that age. A sling would be nice right? How's ABBF strollers to rent?

What can I do special for them in the park? I'm not even sure if any of them have ever been to Dinsey before this.

We brought our youngest dd when she was 7 months and it was a wonderful trip.It was a great age and she was so happy to just look at what was going on around her, she was old enough to sit up in the stroller. Sleeping was a bit of an issue cause she would not sleep in a play pen so she slept in bed with us, but that was ok too. If the baby is going to be breast fed that will make it a lot easier, she may not even be on real food yet. If she is eating table food a portable food mill would be good to have to blend up some veggies or fruit off your plate to keep her going. We brought a bag of toys to keep her busy. You may want to take your own stroller so she will be really comfy for her naps. Lots of bottles of water and diapers are a must too. Overall that age does not require too much, they are so thrilled with being pushed through "Wonderland" that they are well entertained.
