Any times when you cannot get AAA discount?

Sorry if this has been asked before... Does AAA have black-out dates? Or can you always get this discount as long as you have AAA? I think this may my only chance of saving any $$ this trip..my dates don't seem to be included in any of the offers so far.

When I talked with AAA about booking rooms or packages, they never mentioned blackout dates. However, they made a point several times about the fact there were a limited number of rooms available for the discount in various properties. So while you may be able to do it at any time, there were clearly cases where no discount was available because of being booked. She also seemed to indicate the discount varied by room type and season of visit. We are going the beginning of August and staying at ASMu and had no problem booking the room through Disney with the discount.

When we booked our trip back in December for our April 25-May 4th trip, we were told that there were no more rooms available at the AAA rate. Just thought I'd forewarn you that it's like all other discounts disney gives. They have a limited amount and when they are gone, they are gone. Just don't want you to get your hopes up.

From what I understand, they do run out... there are only a certain number per resort per day.

Also, I don't think they're available at Christmas time.

I don't think there are blackout dates, but as the other poster mentioned there are a limited number of rooms available for a AAA discount at any given time. The rates are usually released in July for the entire next calendar year, so people have been booking AAA rates for 2008 since last July 2007.
