Any TicketMaster experts?

Ok, this Saturday tickets go on sale for a WWE/ECW event that will take place in August in Nashville (I'm in S. Florida) at 9:00 a.m.

I'm not sure if this is going to be a sale out event or not.

I'm trying to get the tickets as a surprise for DS10, he'll be up there visiting his Grandparents at that time. And they don't seem to come down here as often as when I was young.

Any tips on how to get seats ASAP and decent seats?

My Mom is working on getting someone to take him, but she's willing if no one else will. Gotta love her.......

try looking up the different area codes for ticket master and pick one far away from yours. I did this a few years ago for Buffett tickets and got through in like 3 minutes.... You have to be persistant.... you might be charged for the call though if you do get through

Thanks. Maybe I'll just try a local one, since it's about 900 miles from the event.

Is by phone better than the internet?

I have always had the best look using the internet. Just have your Ticketmaster account setup and ready to go and start trying to get in to purchase the tickets at least 5-10 minutes before the official on-sale time.

The internet is much better as long as you are not using dial-up. I have no trouble purchasing tickets, I always go on a few minutes before tickets go on sale and sign in to my account and have the page up for the tickets, then keep hitting "refresh" until they are on sale.

I think I will try both. Calling a local number in Florida (since the event is in Nashville) and the internet. I have to set up the account tonight.

Now, I just have to get my older son to take the younger one out of the Living Room for awile. I want it to be a total surprise........

I was worried about who would go with him, since I won't be there. And though my Mom doesn't want to go she said she would. She's taken my brother to wrestling when he was younger.

Who knows now? I want to go to the event myself and want to go to Nashville for awhile. I'm going to hunt for low airfairs and might just go with him myself.

I have had good luck with the internet. I am on the website a couple of minutes before they go on sale. When it is time I click on how many tickets I want and go from there. (I always have 2 windows open when I search so that if I don't like the first set of seats they give me I have time to search for another but not lose the first set in case they sell out.)

I agree on making sure you have an account already to save on having to type information in and losing the tickets.
