Any thoughts on when trams will be running again?

Was planning on visiting last year then covid came. Now we are thinking of Nov.2021 or March 2022.The big question is when will the Trams be running? My wife has a HP parking card, though parking in the handicap parking is still out of the question. It may follow the letter of the law as far as being closest to the entrances it still to far for her to walk. We have in the past rented ECV in the park but it dose not help us in getting into the park. We have been waiting to pull the trigger on making our reservations, but the trams for now is the only hold up. Any thoughts when that might be??

No idea about trams but I have read there are wheelchairs at HP for guests to use to get into the park. Maybe someone who has seen this can comment?

I thought there was a small pen of manual wheelchairs near the medical parking that you could use (free) to get from the lot to the ECV rental station. Although my wife has a handicap placard I haven't really paid attention to that recently.

I have parked in the haircap lot twice before, wheel chairs were almost non-existent, had to search up and down different aisles to find one, another time we had to give up and try and walk it, which turned out not so good in the end.

there has never been a tram from handicapped parking to the TTC for getting to MK before covid. I do not expect this to change when trams come back

have only seen one a couple of times so I would not plan on. plus have never been able to get one on the way out of park and park rentals are not allow out of park to lots

We never parked in the handicapped lots because of the walking involved. We always parked on the end of a row, [after showing the attendant our placard] then we were able to walk a few feet to the tram, that's what we were hoping to do again

have not heard anything on them returning anytime soon as no way to social distance on them

Sure they could. Block off every other row and make it one family per row.
sure they could block off rows but I can just hear the complaints from people waiting as one heads out only 1/3 to 1/2 full. even more if raining or hot. also if your group needs more than one row plus how do you plan to social distance in a parking lot with cars going past. just easier on CMs to just not have to deal with plus safer covid wise. my small park ran our little train during or Christmas season. should have heard people complaining when they had to skip the first 2 rows and then a row between groups so each train was less than half full

Too easy to do it, maybe the cost of the drivers and fuel figures into the reason they are not running the trams?

A big part of why they're not running trams is that at the limited capacity of the parks, they really aren't needed except at MK/TTC. The lots don't really fill up to the point where it's not a pretty easy walk to your car.
