Any thoughts on the actual SSR opening date?

I know I have asked this before but I am thinking that since they are taking DVC reservations now someone may have some thoughts on this........We are planning on a long (4/26/04 thru 5/13/04) ladies only trip and although we will go the GF spa several times, we really love the old DI spa. We are hoping for lots of pixie dust and having the SSR spa open by May 1 to have at least a couple of the spa visits there. I know that in the past DVC resorts have opened several weeks earlier for the cash reservations as opposed to DVC members staying on points. Does anyone have any insight into this? Am I am being overly optimistic? By the way, this long trip is what finally pushed DH over the DVC edge when he saw the price tag!!!

I poked around the Disney site and the DVC Member site and there's no indication of a firm opening date for the spa. The DVC site just says "Spring 2004 when the new resort opens".

What a nice long trip -- got room for one more?
