Okay, Family of five.. Me, DH, DD 5, DD 2 (turns three on trip!!) and DS (will be almost 7 months at time of travel) for the second week of May! Flying from Las Vegas on Red Eye.

A little background: We have been to Disneyland with babies many times at 2 months, 4 months, etc. so we are pretty up to date on all the baby stuff. We will have our double stroller with us, and a baby bjorn. I don't have any running off problems, and they are very mild mannered so no tantrums either. We also do not ever take afternoon breaks, our kids are champion stroller nappers and we aren't rigidly scheduled. They go to bed between 11 and midnight (sometimes later) and nap when/if they want to. This is our schedule at home and they will easily be able to do Evening EMH until midnight or 1 without any problems at all. They will be the ones having the time of their lives at midnight, we have serious night owls!

Staying first three nights at POP, last 4 night BWV.

Thursday:

Arrive MCO at 6 am - Magical Express to POP
Grab quick breakfast at food court
Animal Kingdom at opening
Lunch at Tusker house with voucher (do they still do this?)
Back to Pop at 2 pm, check in- nap if needed. (Not sure how much they will sleep on the plane!)
Back to AK around 5pm for EMH till 8pm.
Back to POP, Dinner to room from food court

Friday:

Up early, food court breakfast
Bus to Epcot by 9am
Biergarten lunch (DH's request, do kids like this? the food?)
Back to POP around 3pm - Change/Repack supplies diaper bag
Dinner at Food Court before heading back to Epcot from 6 -12
Illuminations at 9pm (best place to view????)

Saturday: (I know our kids are young for this but we don't want to skip it as we love Water Parks and since there are none in Vegas now - Wet N Wild has closed, we have to visit atleast one. Both our 5 year old and almost three year olds can swim)

Blizzard Beach @ 9am
Lunch at Lottawotta Lodge (any comments, anyplace better there?)
Back to hotel around 4pm Change/re-pack
DTD around 7 pm with Dinner at Earl of Sandwich

------(This is the only night we would be able to see Spectromagic since it is not running the two days I have planned for MK. Is it worth it to skip DTD and go to the park this night to see it at 9? Or should we just skip it this time? It seems similar to the Main Street Electrical Parade in DL, which we have seen many times. Any thoughts?)

Sunday: (Start of 4 days of Dining Plan upon check in to BWV)

Breakfast at POP food Court
Have baggage sent to BWV (How do I do this?)
Head to MK at 9am
Lunch at Pecos Bills
Parade at 3pm, leave after back to BWV to check in/unpack
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 7pm (Do girls dress up for this one?)

Back to BW to catch ME to MCO at 6pm

Well that's it, what do you think? I know it looks like a lot, any other ideas to make the most of our dining plan days? I don't like Seafood so those restaurants don't interest me. This won't be our only trip, just trying to get the basics in, especially what we don't have at DL like Country Bears or Philharmagic. We have been on Soarin many many times, so we won't have to wait for some of the bigger ones. Also have been told many times that Fantasmic is better out west and since we have seen that many times too, I don't know if I should spend time on it there. Thanks if you got this far!

Thank you! It looks like a lot, I know but I think it will be okay. Thanks

One thing that might be an issue is you returning to POP at 2 for a possible nap. THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE A ROOM TO BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER 5 OR EVEN LATER.

We arrived at the POP at 2 and had a lot of trouble getting checked in. There was no room available but i was assured that something would be ready by 3. At almost 4 I was very rudely informed that they do not guarantee a room to be available and that the person I talked to must have been mistaken. After a lot of pleading (and a little crying on my part) we were finally given a different room at 4 so ds could finally take his nap. Had I known it was going to take that long, we never would have waited and we would have gone to cruise the monorails or something for a nap .

Anyway, not to scare you, we had a great trip after that, but a very sour first few hours sitting with all our luggage and a tired toddler in the POP food court.

Staci, Thanks for the advice. Should we then just try to stay as late as we can handle it at AK and then check in when we get back around 7-8 pm? I know it will work if the kids slept on the plane, but I don't know if I will! I guess we will just keep trying to call and check the status, and if it gets past 5 or so, it wouldn't make sense to leave and come back, right? Anyone know how long it would take to make the round trip from AK - POP - AK? Thanks.
