any thoughts on July & august

Anyone with thoughts of camping in July and August. We may cancel our Halloween trip and stay for two weeks at the Fort instead. I am only concerned with heat not crowds.

Its definately HOT...but its a Disney heat!!!

We were there the first week of August '09 with our DD, DSIL, GD & GS (their first trip) and it was tolerable. Hot yes, humid yes, but it was the Fort and WDW..which makes it all very acceptable. Also they do EMH till 1:00 am so you can skip the hot afternoon and go back in the evening.

When I told my husband I wanted to go back this July, he asked me, "Do you know how hot it will be in Orlando?!" And my response was, "Yes, almost exactly as hot as it will be in Indiana. Only we'll be hot in Fort Wilderness."

Yes it is hot in August. Here is what we do.

go to the parks in the morning and evening
swim, ride bikes, just relax in the afternoon

Mainly, just have fun and relax.
