Any Team Challenge peeps out there?

Just wondering! Team Challenge is CCFA's version of Team in Training if you will....Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America.

I did my first Half last OCT...W & D....then Donald in Jan this year...I was just learning about CCFA after my DD13 was diagnosed with Crohns.

I joined Team Challenge, raised $4K, and got to participate in the Napa to Sonoma Half last month!
Going to do the R N R Vegas Half with them as well...

Will probably wear one of my TC singlets for this years W & D...

Or google Team Challenge!
I'm on the IL team there should hopefully be a chapter near you or there is the Nat'l team!
We just did Napa to Sonoma!! Loved it!
Up next R'n R Vegas in Dec!!!

Some of us alumni just registered for Princess! I am excited abt this one!

I ran a race three years ago with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation in my brother's honor. Last year I ran the Boston 13.1 race which was to raise money for Crohn's and Colitis.

I actually have two singlets as I was supposed to run another race with them and was given a purple singlet which the Foundation used before they went to the orange ones they have. I would love to do another race with them but worry about the fundraising.

My brother has Crohn's as well. How is your daughter doing with it?

Sorry to hear about your brother.. As CCFA people say, its an unsexy disease and its not discussed about as much as it should be!

We have an info meeting tonight for RnR Vegas!! I am coming back as a Mentor so I have less to fundraise.... I think it does scare people off though!

DD14 is doing ok, she needs to really embrace watching her diet etc....teenager with Crohns double whammy! lol She has started remicade, however right now we cannot get hospital and outside pharmacy to agree on infusions Red tape...it sucks!

So I am going to keep running and I will wear my TC singlet for W & D this year, and there are some TC alumni making plans for Princess too!!
