Looking to take my BF here as a fun surprise.. he loved dinos as a kid and I think he'll love it. How's the food? Not expecting a gourmet meal, just tasty food. Thanks for any info!

Food was pretty good, like an Applebees would be my comparison. Place was really cool though. My husband and I went together on a parents only vacation and we can't wait to go back and take the kids!

We also thought the food was decent, especially the appetizers. The environment was fantastic.

We were really surprised by the food, loved it actually! The food was very good and the portions are HUGE! The restaurant itself was very cool and my husband was in heaven - he is a dinosaur junkie. :) We also had a very nice server who was very attentive. Can't wait to go back.

WE loved it! And are going back again this year even though we have free dining and have to pay OOP for that meal but we think it is worth it we thought the atmosphere and the food was great.

Hi! We LOVE T-Rex. What a fun place to eat!

Our 2 oldest boys have the same B-Day and we are going to WDW during their special day and this is where they both chose for their special B-Day lunch.

The dinos are awesome, check out the octopus at the bar. There is a lot of noise and activity going on. We think the food is quite good. Last trip I had the appetizer sampler-which was huge and very tasty, I didn't finish it all; DH had the philly cheese steak sandwich, the boys had the mini cheeseburgers and my DSis had the chicken salad. I think we enjoyed this meal the most over any other we have had together.

Try it out!

The food is awful and way over priced, too loud, too hectic. I would walk through and look then eat elsewhere.

I got the Brachiosaurus Bruschetta for my dinner and LOVED it. I also tasted the French Onion Soup and actually liked it better than the one at Epcot.

We have dined there the last two trips. The food is good and our 14 year old daughter loves the setting. She is already saying she wants us to eat there again this next trip.

We loved it. I think it is fair to compare it with Chili's, Friday's and Applebee's as far as the food. Ask your server for their recommendations. We tried one of everything ours suggested and everyone was thrilled. I must warn you not to order their iced tea, though. It was very bitter. We had fabulous tea all week in WDW restaurants but not at T-REX! Have fun!

This was a fun restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere, but you might want some quietness after a while! We had the chicken pot pie (very large), burgers and Mammoth Mushroom Ravioli and enjoyed them all. Make sure to take a walk around the restaurant, and be prepared to let little ones dig for dinosaur bones in the dig area outside.

We have been there a few times now, the 1st was during their 1st month they were open, I always get the ribs, really good:woohoo: the best room to sit in IMO is the ice cave it is really cool when the show starts, make sure youy visit the restrooms while you are there they are pretty cool (at least the mens room, never been to the womens :lmao:) This is my DS's favorite place to eat at WDW, he's a huge Dino buff:goodvibes

We loved it when we took our teens last yr next month we go back just the two of us. We had the paleozoic (sp?) chicken sandwhich, phily cheese steak and a chicken fried steak and it was all YUMMY! We all agreed DH steak was the best, then we shared the volcano dessert and between four couldnt finish it but OMG it was good!

While your there you gotta try the cottontini! Cotton candy with a tropical martini and the shaker cup is a take home souvenier!

The themeing is cool but it does get quite loud in there!

We are skipping lunch to make sure we have room b/c the portions are big! Actually DH made me promise Ghiradelli would be lunch he LOVES ice cream and our bank has this program where buying from certains merchants gives you actual cash back and Ghiradellis is one of those merchants in the time frame we will be there! Pretty cool and we dont even have one here at home! Sorry got off track! Trex is expensive but worth it!
