Right now we have room only reservatins on two rooms at the Boardwalk Inn, but I'm wondering if any of the other hotels have suites that would sleep 8 people, 4 adults, 4 kids.
I'm not sure how many the suites sleep, but most suites in that category will run you hundreds more than a villa. Just looking, the AKL has a 2 bedroom suite (again, I'm not sure how many that sleeps), but it is about $1200.00 in value season per night.
I'm guessing that you would like the bedding option of 2 queen beds then in each room (2 adults + 2 kids per bedroom). If so, the following resorts have suites that fit that:
CR 2 bedroom Lake view or MK view suite ~ $1700 per night value season
Poly 2 bedroom Princess suite ~ $1300 per night value season
YC turret suite ~ $1235 per night value season
Suites include concierge/club level amenities. Some of the suites do not show up on line, so you may have to call or go through a TA to find out about availability.

Thanks that is what I wanted to know, the ones that don't show up on line. Actually I would like a sleeping arrangement that was more than four queens, since the 4 adults are not 2 couples.
I'm mostly just second guessing our BWI choice right now and just looking at what all the options are. It looks like 2 rooms concierge level are still cheaper than a suite.
If we switched to CSR we could do two jr. suites for less than the two rooms at BWI concierge level will be. We would be giving up concierge for more space. Not sure I'm willing to make that trade. Plus we would still need two rooms. We could do one jr suite with the queen and two doubles, and one jr. suite with the king and one queen. To many choices!

I thought the junior suites seemed too business-like (being it's a convention hotel as well). At that point, I'd just get a couple of concierge rooms instead.
You aren't that far from BB there either - just a bus ride away.
You might want to check into the Swan and Dolphin suites as well. I would personally stay in the Boardwalk area, where there is SO much to do. Two parks to walk/boat to, Fantasia Gardens, nice pools at all the resorts, etc.
After exploring other options today, I'm still sticking with BWI concierge, it just feels like the right choice for us. I just wish there were more options for larger groups to stay in the same room.
