My daughter and her family love Teppan Edo but do not want to pay for a park ticket just to go and eat there. Does anyone know if there is something comparable in Orlando they could recommend?

You may want to post this on the Orlando board. I had questions about local Subway sandwich shops and received quite a few replies.
Another option is to check restaurant listings on restaurant.com for the Orlando area. There are many Japanese restaurants with descriptions listed on that site.
