Can any of you give your suggestions/recommendation for a good "traditional" thanksgiving dinner restaurant to choose? .... any place to stay away from? etc.

Thanks!!:surfweb:

... oh yea, I forget, how many days in advance can I make the reservations on the dining plan, and what date would that be for Thanksgiving day dinner in 2008?

Thanks for your help!!!:worship:

We will also be making reservations for Thanksgiving. The 180 day mark for Thanksgiving day (11-27-08) is May 31, 2008. Are you interested in a buffet, family style or order off the menu type meal?

However, when will you be arriving for your vacation? If you are arriving before 11-27-08 you can make your reservations a little earlier. You can make reservations 180 days before the check in date of your arrivial for a total of ten consecutive days after your check in date.

Actually DD12 and I like buffet style, but DW HATES buffets, maybe someplace that would have both choices would be great.

We are thinking about LTT ... just seems like the right atmosphere for Thanksgiving.

We will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day, so won't be able to make reservations until 180 out from Thanksgiving.

We also will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day. That means your 180 days out will be the same as mine, May 31st, mark it on your calendar and call in the morning.

I believe, LTT is a family style restaurant. We are also considering this restaurant. We have eaten at Cyrstal Palace the last two years for our Thanksgiving Dinner. They have a wonderful buffet.

We are as well but a little leary of how crazy MK is going to be that day.

I will be there for Thanksgiving this year too. We are planning to spend our day at Epcot. I have been considering Garden Grill.

From what I can tell, a lot of the restaurants offer a traditional menu, or at least traditional Thanksgiving items.

This is from a really good friend of mine. He and his whole family went to Liberty Tree, like 12 of them on Thanksgiving Day. First of all they were seated at different tables, this is with advanced reservations by the way. Secondly they had the worst service they have ever had at any restaurant any where. I believe him, but again i didn't see this 1st hand, just relaying what i was told..

Back in 2004 our gang of 8 adults and 2 children ate at Kona Cafe on turkey day. It was a 'thanksgiving meal' and was a set price. The atmosphere was great and the food was very yummy!

We're going again this upcoming Thanksgiving... trying to pick where to eat this time.
