Okay, our anniversary happens to fall on the 18th of October. We have already reserved the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's but more should I do? We are staying at AKL and my partner, Jim, bought a bottle of Moet et Chandon and watch for me so I wanna trump him up this year!

He's not what you would call "a collecter" so I am at a loss for what to get him other than bottle of the bubbly and 15 roses...so, any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

The Haunted Mansion and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ROCK!!! :maleficen

If you could upgrade to concierge (maybe you're staying conceirge already?), sign up for the Sunset Safari, which is a nighttime trip around the savannahs at AKL followed by a wonderful meal at Jiko. It's right at your resort! I think you only have to stay one night in concierge.

A splurge? Yes, but it just might trump the bottle of bubbly!

Happy Anniversary!

 Hi ya'll

haydenct...........that's wonderful

My DH (Jim) & I are going down in Nov. for our 20th wedding anniversary; we'll be doing the Platinum Pkg, and it has just about everything and it's mama included. Yes, it's pricey but........I do believe w/what 20 yrs brings to a marriage..........we both are waiting for this celebration
Doing alot of happy dancin' :dance3: .

We aren't doing the V&A Chef's table, but I did talk DH into going to V&A, and if we're not full, we'll go get a burger. :woohoo:

We're going to do the "Wishes Cruise" & have ordered an anniversary cake, w/private dining delivering it to the boat, and we are having a bottle of wine also. The only draw back is: w/Wishes Cruise & the Platinum Pkg - you have to share the boat w/other couples.
I'm a very private person....... :rotfl2:

Also, we're having the "White Choc Mickey & choc covered strawberries" delivered to our room.

My DH is the police ::cop: & he "LOVES" goofy so, I'm going to take his police ballcap to one of the parks with us & have him take his picture w/goofy, w/goofy wearing his police cap.

Also, I've made arrangements for a signed & framed autographed picture of goofy :goofy: to be delivered to our room for DH.

On our anniversary date; my DH will be doing the "Richard Petty" Rookie Experience :moped: :drive: .....he's not a die heart NASCAR fans, but he does like to drive fast and doesn't get the chance to do so.... & "that's NOT included in the platinum plan"

We're also going to Fulton's that evening for our anniversary dinner & we've requested a dish from our favorite cajun/creole restaurant, I'm sure they can mimic it. :woohoo:

Be creative; whatever you can think of, I do believe someone, somebody, somewhere can help you achieve your plans ! :thumbsup2

I'm ready to go today ! ! ! Five months :hourglass

Have fun & Congratulations again !

pssst.....my suggestion would be a limo to and from dinner and to start off with a Spa Treatment over at the Grand Floridian Spa BEFORE the Chef's Table.

Kevin and I have done the Spa thing a couple of times.

I know....I know....too foo foo....but you want to know something? It was a GREAT relaxing way to start the evening before dinner at V&A.

We've done both a "couples" massage and facials before. We didn't really like the couples massage thing, but enjoyed the facial thing (and if you tell and of our mutual friends about this, I will hurt you badly! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Anyway, talk to the K-Man about it....thats my suggestion!

I wouldn't DREAM of telling! VBEG

I second the spa idea- such a relaxing start to a wonderful day, capped off with dinner at V&A's, and maybe some tuxedo strawberries waiting in the room when you get back. A friend got married at WDW and arranged with Disney Floral that the bed be sprinkled with rose petals and a bottle of champagne chilling bedside when they got back to the room  Good luck with whatever you decide

PS- I was so excited to see Disney lovers from CT!!! :thumbsup2

You know what I'd do, is call around the end of August and ask a CM if there is anything new that you could arrange that could be new to the Year of a Million Wishes. We're going in November and I asked when I called last time if there was anything little and new coming out, or anything special being offered, and she said the CM's haven't gotten a lot of the info for the public yet, but to call back then and they may know more. There might be something no one here even knows about yet that they might suggest!
