Any suggestions for iPhone holder?

We are going on our first family trip in 35 days. We will be taking our two daughters, 3 and 1. The majority of our pictures and video will be taken with our iPhone 6's. That means that I very well could be taking them on a ride or two with me. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on something that I could get to put my iPhone in so that it is better protected and more stable than just being in my hand. If I'm walking, it doesn't bother me too much, but if I have it on a ride, etc, I would rather have something a bit more stable.

If you are female (I thought maybe Kevin might be a hubby) then I would recommend a Vera Bradley Mini Hipster or Frannie cross body bag. I have worn them on rides and have also placed them in the netting in front of me. I dropped my Iphone 4S in front of RainForrest Cafe at AK a couple of years ago...then several weeks later I dropped my old 3G and broke it too. So enter Otterbox. I have now been punished with DH's 3G for the last couple of years...it feels longer than that.

So now I won't get a 6 until I pick out a heavy duty case. Dh uses the Defender case I think. I am more commuter in the Otterbox line. Anywho if I were a guy I would pack cargo shorts and drop it in one of the lower pockets....with an Otterbox protecting it.

It was amazing to me how many parents were on their phones in the parks with children alert and enjoying the scenery all around them....it kinda made me sad that the parents weren't talking and engaging them...yep I am childless...not picking on anyone, just something I noticed.

I carry mine in a small Thirty-One wristlet. It has a pocket on the outside for a phone with a velcro strap that goe across the top of the phone to hold it in.

Wow! I thought that I was clear in my original post, but after rereading what I wrote, I really didn't ask the question I was intending. However, thanks for the responses everyone!

What I was thinking of, was something like a camera strap or something similar for an iPhone. I am actually planning on either taking video while on rides or having the phone out to record ride audio. If I'm not using it, I'll most definitely have it in my pocket.
