Any Suggestions for Hotels in Miami?

If we do go on our RCI cruise, we would be flying out the day before. I was wondering if anyone had any hotel suggestions for hotels near either the Miami Airport or the Port of Miami. (Pref. the Port) Thanks in advance!

We stayed at the Hilton near the airport one year. We booked it through the cruise line and for $35 upgraded to concierge with so many snacks there wasn't room for dinner. We enjoyed the pool area although there wasn't much around to walk to. I would look closer to the port as well. Preferably near the Biscayne Bay Shopping area. We enjoyed that. This year we are sailing out of Ft Lauderdale and will be staying at the Marriott Hotel and Marina that I got on Priceline for $65! Can't complain, particularly during school vacation. Try Priceline and see what is in the area.
