any suggestions for a new barber?

My daughter is in barber school ( she will learn the basics for men and women's cutting, coloring, styling) She finishes in April. Would there be any positions other than BBB since I've heard that one hard to get. Id love for her to get the Disney experience even ifs sweeping hair in the barber shop.

they hire barbers and cosmetologists, but not as part of the Disney College Program. She would probably need to be licensed in Florida already too.

I am a licensed hairdresser in three states. The DCP does not have any cosmetology jobs within them. The salons are out sourced so it is a different company...not disney that hires them.

I am doing the CP in the spring. So I have researched this up and down! lol so she would have to find out who the company is...which I did and do not remember off hand. But she would then need to get her license there and they require a HIV testing cert.

Thanks again, She went ahead and applied for the spring advantage but didnt pass the web interview. She may try to take an online class this summer and apply again.

I looked on the Disney careers website and there is a Cosmetologist job opening listed in Disneyland and a part time opening as a Spa Hair Stylist- at Aulani Disney Resort & Spa. I can't post the links since I don't have enough posts, but if you go the the disney careers website you should be able to find them. However it looks like they require some experience. At least you know that there is a possiblity of a job there if she's ever interested!
