DH and myself are celebrating our 4 year anniversary when we are in disney this year and i was looking for a place that wouldn't mind if we just came in for a late night dessert. any suggestions of places that have really yummy desserts would be great!! i am trying to stay away from just icecream. we usually end up having that every night anyways!!
i checked out the rain forest, and that looked good!
thanks for the help!

Ive never had any room for dessert here, but Ive heard the Kona Cafe in the Poly has wonderful desserts. Everything else there is great so Im guessing the desserts are too.
Or if you like white chocolate and chocolate & mousse, you could order a Cinderellas Slipper at the Grand Floridian and take it into the lounge to eat(we did this a couple weeks ago, but it wasnt late night). If you are eating dinner I would think 1 would be plenty to share for the both of you. It consists of a white chocolate plate, the white chocolate slipper, filled with a vanilla custard and a few rasberries. Also on the plate is a tear drop shaped piece of chocolate filled with chocolate mousse, and a dab of rasberry sauce. It was absolutely delicious.

The California Grill has awesome desserts. I bet you could sit in the lounge and have dessert, and maybe catch MK fireworks too!

For something quick we love the Fountainview Cafe. They have coffee drinks and many different types of desserts. Also Boardwalk Bakery has great treats, a family favorite there is the eclair.

Kona Kaffe!! All I can say is WOW:earseek: :earseek: :earseek: They have desserts around the $5.00 range and you can get a pot of pressed coffee. You will not be sorry. Go a bit later though, the dinner hour can be crowded!

Pinkbounc I don't know if you can sit down here but the Bakery on the mainstreet in MK is just awesome for desserts. The cheesecake and the cinnamon buns are to die for. I know you don't want ice cream but the ice cream sandwiches there are like no other. You and your DH would likely be able to share the desserts also. Coffee ? you got me there:Pinkbounc

I also have heard the desserts are good at the GF like camcolt said and the picture I've seen of the chocolate slipper is just amazing and looks awesome too!!!!!:Pinkbounc

If it's your 4 year anniversary, perhaps the white chocolate slipper is more memorable. I've read on these boards that it is well worth the $14, but may not be an "every trip" item. Congrats!

There is a dessert sampler at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the YC resort.:faint: OMG it is good::yes:: And it's not just ice cream:D

You might want to check out the menus on allears.net , Good Luck. Enjoy your trip.

We have always loved the Patisserie (at Epcot). The pastries make you gain weight just looking at them! And what could be more romantic than France?!
