Any suggestions for a 2BR at BCV?

We're going in November and would love ideas for room suggestions (specific rooms or views to request). I'd like to be away from any construction, would love to see Illuminations and that's about all I need. One other question should I request a dedictaed 2 BR or don't worry-are there any differences (other than the fact that 1 is always a @ BR and 1 is a studio and a 1BR at times.) Thanks! I'm so excited and want to make this vacation great!

Dedicated 2BR only have the one entrance going out to the hallways. I suppose if you have wandering children, that might be a consideration instead of getting a lockoff.

MS and the check in staff make a good effort at getting you a room that would work for you. Make your requests as you listed here and they will be listed on your reservation.

When you check in, the CMs will do their best for you to get you a room that meets your needs.

We stayed at BCV in January 2003, and had a 2BR, room #134.It did not have an IllumiNations view, however, it overlooked the quiet pool, and you could actually walk out our patio door, across a little bit of grass, and be right at the pool!!!!!
We loved having that convenient access to the pool and hot tub area.

Usually, a dedicated is not a request, but is an actual reservation and is different from a lockoff. I know that on my confirmation it is noted that I have reserved a 2 bedroom dedicated. So, if you did not make that part of your original reservations, you are probably getting a lockoff.

This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

Room 553 Is a dedicated 2 bed 2 bedroom villa. It has one of the largest balconies I have seen at DVC and it has a full view of the fireworks and laser show. I is near a small quiet elevator that takes you right down near the pool and bridge to the parking lot. We loved it there. Some friends are going down this June and we have requested that room for them. It was a corner room and on both sides there were CM rooms, so noise from our girls or from neighbors was non-existant. It is the best in my opinion.

As others have mentioned if you are going in November you have probably already made you reservation and it should say if you have a dedicated, a dedicated with 2 queens or a lock-off. What do you have on your reservation?

Wow Sandy thanks for that handy sheet giving all the room stats. That'll be very helpful. Is it true that now when you check in at the desk, they'll show you a map of what's available at that specific time and you can choose your room that way?

Amy, we'll be there in November as well (7-15)...also looking for a 2 BR. Hope your trip fun!

When I wsa there last month she offered me a room which I wasn't thrilled with (based on location comments). She than pulled out the resort map and gave me three other choices which I looked up and made my selection.

I think like everything else some of it is luck and some of it is definetly in a members sweetness to a CM when asking for something

thanks everyone for the help! Deb we're there Nov 8-14th so I'll see you there!!! I can't wait! Haven't told my 4 yr old yet that we're going-he's never been. Boy is he going to flip!!!
