My daughter left her "Lovie" blanket on the bunk the last morning. She will be 6 in a month and that night was the first night she's ever slept without it. We called from WDW and left a message and they called back, saying they hadn't found it yet.

Knowing it was only a 4 day cruise departing (1/4 - 1/8) we called back on 1/8 and asked if it had been found in the linens laundry. No call back yet (which has irked me somewhat to be honest) so DH is trying again.

It's a small blanket (used to be a bear head w/blanket, but the head fell off years ago) with her name and date of birth on it. Not something anyone would want I would think.

I am heartbroken for her (of all the things to lose....) but don't hold out much hope. I will have my friend going on the 1/22 cruise check onboard, but again, I'm losing hope.

We left a brand new pair of Birkenstock sandals and had no luck getting them back. Sorry. Call Disney and they have a lost and found setion for things that are turned in.

I left my jewelry in the safe!!! We realized when we got to the airport, and immediately went to find a Cruise Line Rep. They radioed someone at the pier and gave them all my information. Within a half hour the called back and said they had my jewelry and would be sending it on the next bus to the airport. I had it back before boarding our flight home!!!

DS left his one and only souvenier from our first cruise (a navy blue t-shirt). To this day I'm not sure if it fell out of the bag while I was packing or if the CM in the store dropped it when putting it in the bag. In any event we were sent one in the correct size.

Masonpips: i feel your pain....i'm sorry and i hope that they will find it by some small miracle.

My dd11 left a loved stuffed animal in the terminal before we set sail on our 7 night...It wasn't until we were getting things ready for bed (setting out suprises for the girls while they were in the club)...that we realized scooby wasn' in the room anywhere. She had had him since she was little and took him everywhere. I tryed to convence her to leave him at home this trip...but she wouldn't have any of that. The last place DH and I remeber her having him was in the terminal...so we went to GS to report leaving him there...in hope someone would find him...and we'd be able to claim him when we got back. Anyway....the CM asked us to wait one moment while she did something in the back room...before we knew it she was walking back out with scooby in her hands. Someone found him in the terminal and brought him on board.

It's not the success story you were looking for ....but there has been some luck with lost and found. Good luck to you in finding "Lovie"
