We are going to be in WDW the weekend of Jan. 23rd and I am bringing along my brother in law. He loves steak and is requesting I take him to a steak and shrimp place.

My questions is this; is there another place besides Ohana that I can get both? I have eaten at Ohana's before and wouldn't mind eating there again, I just wondered if there was anything else out there that we might try.

Thanks for your help!

Well the restaurants on property that sell steaks are Shula's, Yachtsmans Steakhouse, Narcoosees, Le Cellier & Concourse Steakhouse. I know YS & Narcoosees would be very accommodating to a request if it is not on the menu. You might want to check out the menus at www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm

Go to the Yachtman Steakhouse. You will not regret it. The Land and Sea (filet minon and Lobster tail) is to die for. The juices and seasonings they use are litterally mouthwatering. Plus it is a nice chance to walk around the YachtClub and if the parking pass does not have a expiration date on it you could spend the rest of the night there and just the boardwalk or go into epcot or just sit on the benches until 9pm when Illuminations Fireworks start and watch the Fireworks from there.
You cant go wrong at the Yachtmans.

Being a meat lover, I've scoured the "world" for good steak. The best is at the Yachtsman Steakhouse & Le Cellier. The prime rib at the Rose & Crown is excellent.

our party of 4 ate there last week. we all had different steaks and all were wonderful. appetizers and desserts were great too.

I'll echo the recommendations for the Yachtsman Steakhouse and Le Cellier. They both cook up an excellent steak.

While Le Cellier and YSH are good, there is only one TRUE steakhouse on property. It's Shula's. It is head and shoulders above the rest.

Not sure if Le Cellier has shrimp on the menu, BUT I Fultons in DTD probably would, they aren't a steak house (they're seafood) but they do have a VERY good filet mingon

Le Cellier (our favorite) and I'll add another one. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Artist Point. I had, I think it was a Beef Tenderloin Steak (not positive), I know it was a type of beef steak, hubby had salmon, both delicious and a new favorite restaurant.

We tried Le Cellier last month and all 4 had DELICIOUS steaks (steak and mushroom) while 3 of us got cheddar cheese soup. DH got a spicy shrimp appetizer (kind of a coctail)

very surprised at how much we all enjoyed this meal

Most of the sit downs in the resorts will have steak and shrimp offerings on their menu. I have to agree with the poster who said Shula's is head and shoulders above the rest. DH and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there, and we got out for right around $100 - we each ordered our preferred steak and shared a side dish, and shared dessert. It may not sound like much, but we were very full and VERY happy. To help narrow the choices you might ask him what kind of atmosphere (park, park view, fireworks view, etc.) and see if that eliminates a few of the great possiblities. Oh - and nobody had mentioned Flying Fish, but I hear they have great steak, and I'm sure very good shrimp offerings too.

If price is no object, I would go with Shula's. Their Porterhouse is to die for. We ate there 2 weeks ago and it was great. Our bill was pretty expensive though. We had 2 drinks (a Bombay Saphire martini and a rusty nail), 2 starters (shrimp cocktail with big, big jumbo shrimp and the Beefsteak Tomatoes & Gorgonzola Salad), 2 Porterhouse steaks, an order of asparagus, an extra-large double baked potato, and a $60 bottle of wine (Merryvale 2000 Cabernet). Our total bill with tip was $225 for 2.

If price is an object, then the Yachtsman's Steakhouse is almost as good. I think we'll go there next year and skip Shula's because of the price.

I guess too each his own on the steakhouse. We preferred Yachtsmen to Shulas. I though our service and steak were far superior then that of Shulas.
We had a wonderful caeser salad, BBQ shrimp appetizer & oysters, I had the Kansas City Strip steak, it was to die for and my husband had the filet with sauteed mush & onlions. All were outstanding! I also love the onion pull apart rolls. They have a great wine list too. I think we had Sterling Cab that night.
I believe the bill was around $160.00, which isn't bad for all that food.

I have had the steak there and it is very good. I don't remember ever seeing a shrimp dish there though.

ahutton= I hate to disappoint you however the Yachtman Steakhouse is just as expensive. I feel as well that the food is far supieror over Shulas. As I have stated my fav. at the Yachtmans is that land and sea which plate alone is 50.00. Filet minon and Lobster tail. So with appitiezers, and drinks and a bottle of wine for a family of 3 the check will get a bit high.

As for Flying Fish I absolutely love this restraunt as well HOWEVER NOT FOR STEAK!!!!!!!!!!

We had great meals at Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary. One night there were 3 in our party and another night there were just 2 of us and each time the steaks were cooked exactly the way were ordered them and delicious. I believe they offer shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun.
