Hi all,

With our WDW trip just two weeks away, my thoughts turn to next year's theme park holiday... we're going to Spain! I'm going to take in Port Aventura, Terra Mitica and Warner Bros. Movie World. So, two questions:

1) Anyone have any thoughts on any of these parks?
2) Anyone know which airlines fly from Reus to Madrid directly? So far, i've only found from Barcelona to Madrid, which adds an extra 90 minutes to our travel time, so naturally it's better to go from Reus.

Ta!

Just a quick question why are you looking to fly from Madrid to Reus?

Other way round - Reus to Madrid :thumbsup2

Here's the plan:

Stansted to Reus - Port Aventura
Rues to Madrid - Warner Bros Movie World
Madrid to Valencia - Terra Mitica
Valencia to Stansted - home!

Aha I see now!! Iberia fly using Air Nostrum from Reus to Madrid.

Iberia are part of the One World group that includes BA and looks like some BA flights to Spain are operated by Air Nostrum. It looks like a nice airline from what I have read.

Hi, I was at PortAventura not long ago and loved it! It was the 3rd time I'd been. We (me and family) got 14 day tickets for the price of 3 days and definately got more than our moneys worth. The park is great as it offers something for all ages.

In 2003 we drove 2000 miles around Spain, from Bilbao to Port Aventua and stayed in the on site main hotel for a few days. Then drove to Benidorm but did not go to the theme park! Then on to Costa Del Sol, Gibralta and back to bilbao via Madrid. The only theme park DH allowed us to go to was Port Aventua. It was no where as good as Universal in either Orlando or Hollywood but was good. It stayed open to midnight and the evenings were magic. Definately recommend staying on site at the Port Aventua hotel as can just climb into bed after after a hard evening in the theme park. We could drive to Barcelona for a day trip from the hotel. Loads of restaurants in the theme parks for dinner and a great way to spend the evening.

Have just bought a holiday home in Spain so do hope to eventually do all the other theme parks if can get Mark to agree!

We went to PortAventura in August! It was brilliant! We visited there for a week- we went to the Costa Caribe water park twice and the theme park every day but one!!!

If you have any specific questions- just ask :)
