I own at BWV, but I have also traded into DVC using Interval International. It looks like Interval International's website is saying that SSR has some one bedroom units that sleep 6. Is this for real, or is that just a mistake?

I've long thought that DVC should have some one bedrooms that hold more than 4, but OKW would be the ideal place for this, rather than SSR. Heck, the OKW one-bedrooms are bigger than the 3-bedroom house that I used to own!

Nope, it's a mistake. The stated capacity of all one-bedrooms (and studios) is 4. Unofficially, I think DVC will permit five, but they won't provide bedding for the fifth person.

There is a room for six, of course. It's a two-bedroom!

I'm quite sure what You saw was a 2 bedroom listing.

I just went into II and there were 2 listings that I saw for SSR. The second one DID say that it was 6/4 for a 1 bedroom villa.(Note that it said 6/4 instead of 4/6)

By the way, I used 2 of my Units to check...The first one, a studio, only showed the first 1 BR Unit at SSR. The second one I used showed the second SSR unit...the 6/4, which was obviously a mistake.

June :)

To the best of my knowledge, a 1BR sleeps a maximum of 4. You can add a 5th person if it is a child who can sleep in a Pack & Play. A 1BR contains a King size bed in the master BR and a queen size pullout couch in the living room.

Again, to the best of my knowledge, a 2BR would sleep a maximum of 8, and you can add a 9th if it is a child who can sleep in a Pack & Play. A 2BR contains the master bedroom king size bed, the livingroom pullout couch and a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and a pullout couch. I guess they assume 2 people in each of the 4 beds/couches. Some of the 2nd BRs in some of the units in some of the different resorts contain a 2nd bed in the 2nd bedroom, rather than a pullout couch.

Untill the last couple of years essentially all the listings were incorrect. They have actually about 8 different unit types for both BWV and OKW, many of which they don't even have at WDW. They've fixed most of the info but apparently not all of it. All the info in the directory is now correct. Sounds like this was simply an error in entering the data, something that happens from time to time. Technically one can only trade for 6 for a 2 BR though Disney will let you put 8. They have been more strict in the past with exchange occupancy than member occupancy.

Hey, just out of curiousity, what dates are showing availability through II for DVC?
Not much right now, mostly VB. Until recently, a lot of OKW & SSR were showing for Sept, Oct, Jan, early Feb.
