Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Just switched resorts from CSR to POR from Sept.13-17 and was immediately able to customize our bands and make fastpass selections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
 
I had the same issue and had to make another account with my email. A trick - if you have a gmail account, you can add a "." anywhere in the front of the address and it will go to your email. (I hope that makes sense... so if your email is disneyfiveATgmailDOTcom you could do disney.fiveATgmailDOTcom).

Thanks!!! That did the trick! I wasn't sure if my wife had a seperate account, and sure enough she did. We booked the other FP+'s on her account and we even got overlapping FP+ lunch times. :goodvibes

Thanks to all who replied!

My issue is this:

I did not receive an email or anything with an invitation. I just happened to notice the option to begin customizing MBs and selecting FP+ when I logged in to MDE.
So, I clicked the link to start customizing.
However, there are no magic bands displayed to customize??

I really don't want to do online check-in, but others have said that the bands appeared only after they completed online check-in.


Update: I went back into MDE and selected the link for online check-in. Before continuing with the online check-in process, I cancelled it.
Went back into MDE about an hour later and I had Magicbands! I was able to customize them. Although there was a message saying that this was the last day I was able to customize.
The whole thing kind of scares me. If Disney is having problems getting invitations out to people to let them know they are part of the test group, then what does that say about the testing process in general.
 
uh oh!! Thanks for the info... I"m starting to feel stressed .....

I am keeping my Pop reservation regardless of my travel plans. I currently expect to arrive on the 2nd and will get my magicbands upon check-in. If I end up arriving on the 3rd I will simply provide Pop with my reservation info from the 2nd and pick up my MagicBands on the 3rd :thumbsup2
 

:cool1: we r at Pop 8-31 thru 09-07 invited for magic band testing..received them in mail few days later..we shall see how things go:banana:
 
We are on two different reservations so I had to make the BOG FP+ ADRs separately. Now I think I may have done them for two different days. Is there any way to check this or someone I can call to check that all of us are on the same day at the same time?

Anyone? Or does anyone have the IT number that keeps getting mentioned? (Sorry if I missed a response, I tried to look through quickly!)

I don't think I've seen this question yet... I booked a free dining package. Will my meals be on my Magic Band and if so, will I not have access to them until I get to the hotel? I'd like to go straight from MCO to lunch at Downtown Disney but will I be able to use meal credits at that point?

If it matters, I did do online check-in.

Decided to make a change to 2 of our park days for Sept. (switched Ep &MK days around) yesterday and was able to go into MDE ans rearrange our Fp+ for both days and was able to get almost identical times for each on the new day including Illuminations! Loving this :)
 
Can I switch my reservation from POFQ to POR - order magic bands and make FP+ reservations and then switch back to POFQ right before my trip? My trip starts sept 20.

The number I have used is 407-939-7849.

I selected my bands Sunday made my choices Monday got my confirmation email from UPS with a tracking number this morning. And they are out for delievery today.:thumbsup2

Just go back to Beourguestlunch.disney.go.com and login. You can view, change and cancel your reservations there.

As mentioned none of us have tried the bands yet but I think you have to check in first. Again, not sure. World try calling IT.

Don't know for sure but I would think your FP+ might get canceled. Besides, wouldn't you be paying change fees twice to change your reservation? Cheaper to book a ghost reservation at POP for one night.
 
We received our magic bands yesterday :)

My question now is - do I need to do anything with them prior to my trip (we are 24 days out)? Or do we just bring them with us to check in and everything is taken care of from there?

Sorry if this question was already addressed - I haven't seen it :confused3

No, it will not show up anywhere but at the restaurant.
 
Sorry in advance for asking a question I'm sure has been asked a gazillion times, I've tried using the search function and Google but can't get my answers.

I am debating booking the PoP "ghost" reservation, we are staying at CSR, but I want to participate. We will pay for the room, just not stay in it.

1) We arrive 9/21-if I book this for 9/21, RO, do I need to physically check in over at PoP for the band to be activated? Is it going to be an issue that my name is on 2 reservations at 2 different resorts?

2) We are staying at CSR on a free dining package starting on 9/21. I think I've seen that AP holders have access to the FP+ on the second part of a split stay at a non-testing resort-will this hold true for package tickets? Can or would CSR be able to program the band to work the door, tickets and for charging? I'm confused about how if you don't use the band at the turnstiles, how would you have access to the FPs you schedulded :confused3
