Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Getting ready to do my onlne check-in so I can customize my Magicband.

What colors are available?
Are there any other customization choices I should know about?

I was able to customize my bands last night for our Sept 14 arrival at AKL. I was also able to play around with FP+. Here is my question. If we are "testing" this new system, will we be asked for feedback? I already have some opinions. Does anyone else think it will discourage park hopping?

Also, are we sure we can still use regular fast passes? How does that work with a band instead if a card?

We are staying at the CR resort 10/20-10/26. Can anyone give me any info about these magic bands and if our family will get them? I read somewhere that everyone staying at a resort will have them but that was back in January. I booked through AAA so I have no clue when I'll get my package with all of this information. I have 4 little kiddos coming along so I'd love to FP+ Toy Story! Any info would be great!

Lets you choose colors among: pink green red orange blue gray and yellow. All have black trim on the edges. And let's you choose what name you want up to 9 characters including numbers and spaces.

It won't discourage DH & I. I've set our FP+ selections for the morning time so we still have the afternoon to relax around the pool and then head to another park at night.

I'm not sure I like such structure in a vacation though. I had a hard time picking any at all. We're more the go with the flow type of people, so we'll just have to see how it goes.

September is such a light crowd month that in the past we hardly used any fastpasses. I imagine the FP lines will be longer than the stand-by lines this time.

ETA: We never got an official notice of invite. I just logged into MDE and clicked on manage magic bands. It had the invite on that page.

That's when I did it, online checkin, but now I can't remember what it is! If I still don't remember when i get there do you think I can change it @ the front desk?

When I did online check-in, I could not select the pin. It was grayed out and said the pin was already selected. ??? So hopefully we can change it at the resort since we don't know what it is!

Has anyone been able to select a FastPass for Enchanted Tales with Belle in this run? I don't have the option for the end of September. I didn't get any bonus selection either that some people were reporting. Just curious.

I was able to select it for Sept 14th. Check back occasionally to the FP+ selections as new attractions become available. I found that by doing minor changes, bonus FP+ pop up (at least for MK).

Previous testers have been given a survey and some have been invited to spend time with focus groups. IMO we will all receive a survey upon returning home. Heck, this is a company that asks you to complete a survey every time you call them.

You can change your pin at check in. And everyone else can add their own pin code at that time. I only takes a minute to do.

I have to chime in on this debate. Will not being part of the test ruin most people's vacation? Of course not.

However, I can say that for those staying at BLT, AKL Kidani and POFQ I think you have a MAJOR gripe.

How could one not feel like they are being treated as second class when half of the resort is part of the test and the "other" half is not.

I wanted to do the MB and FP+, so I made a RO "ghost reservation". I have no issue with some hotels allowed to test and other not. However, I have a HUGE issue with these 'part of the hotel' can test while others staying at the SAME resort can't.

We will be at POR-arriving Sept 2. Everyone arriving after that will get a band. so especially at the resort we will be reminded of the band because almost all of the people will have one. we will be there 7 days and there are some that will only be there for 2 days but because the arrive after the date--they will get them--just a little miffed

I really like the looks of the band and was wanting one for a keepsake--even if I couldn't use it

I am going September 8-13 and I am now able to select fast pass + in my disney experience app! I staying at the Poly and I guess this means I get to test it. Haven't received an email or notification from my travel agent but the option just allowed me on my app!!!

Reports no FP+ past the 28th of sept and one you do online check in your bands should be come selectable

When I tried to select FP+ options, I couldn't choose times. I could only select options for the attractions I chose as a package type set up and the FP times were spread throughout the day. Also, I was really hoping to be able to choose wishes, but that wasn't an option ;(

Once you choose a package of times, you can go back in and change the times individually or switch to a different attraction.

I actually thought the same thing about park hopping. I think it might discourage it which doesn't make much sense because they make more money if you buy park hopping tickets. I think the best strategy for us anyways was to make RD and EMH like we always do and save FP+ for when we come back in the afternoon after a break.

It has been confirmed by others that you will receive a KTTW card to go along with you MagicBands and that you will be able to gain FP that way too. I know..how scandalous!
