Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Just made my FP+ for Sept 21-28 stay! No MB yet and no wishes or parades either. Hoping these come really soon.

Magic Bands were made available to my traveling partner today - she is checking in at Pop on 9/27.

ETA - she got the pop up to create them but it's not leading her to customization...

Super bummed - have a split stay (kind of), staying at POFQ from Sept 25 until Sept 29 then one night on the 29th at AoA. The only FP+ I can select is on 29/30th, and we aren't going to theme parks on the last day


We did a beta test of FP+ last December and absolutely loved it. It is going to be hard to go back on the old FP system this trip. Fingers crossed they implement POFQ in the next few days. Anyone else at POFQ during that time?

I still can't make any FP+ selections on 9/29 or beyond. My stay is from 9/28-10/5 between AKV Jambo and AoA.

I got a confirmation email (5am) this morning that my Magic Bands have been shipped via UPS along with a tracking number. Wow that was fast! Customized them on Tuesday I believe? I just checked the tracking:

Scheduled Delivery: Thursday, 08/15/2013, by 10:30 A.M.

Staying at POP 9/7-9/14

I didnt get a email I customized it like two days ago and its here i still have 19days to go. So it looks like there doing it fast. And I still havnt got a email that I would test them but I had a issue with profiles linking up. So IT emaile dme and said since I got everything FP+ and Magicbands that I would have to wait till next trip for her to manage her FP+ and make reservations. SO it looks like there rolling it out .

SO glad I switched from CBR to POR for our upcoming trip. I cant wait to test this out, especially since it appears "double dipping" may still be allowed if its not fully rolled out. We are at POR from 9/28-10/5.

I am able to customize our magic bands, in fact they have already shipped. But I am unable to make any fastpass+ reservations. I have checked in for the POP reservation and there is a credit card attached to it.

Does anyone else have this problem - magic bands but no fp+? Any suggestions?

Yellowfish- I think it is looking like you can't reserve FP+ more than 45 days out.

Emilypaul- did you link your tickets? It only allows me to do 4 days because that's all I paid for, although we are planning on adding a fifth day.

do you have your park tickets linked to the account thats how people are able to book the fp+ or a annual pass linked.

Not to be a pessimist (but I will be for the sake of argument). Is it just me, or does it seem like those of us who are apparently not in the FP+ September test group may be completely out of luck in terms of fast pass availability? and may be forced into standby for everything? We are staying at WL 9/20 - 9/27. It appears about half of resorts are involved. The previous test only involved a small percentage of resort guests, which made the impact on non test guest minamal at worst. but this one looks to be involving a significant number of guests, thus making the impact on those not involved a lot greater. I don't meen to be negative, just thought i'd bring this fact up, who knows, it could be everyone is involved and my points will be meaningless.

So is BC confirmed for Sept? (at least according to disers?) When I try to book fast passes, it tells me I need a valid ticket (we havent bought them yet), so I cant verify it myself. I am going to buy the tickets tonight if I can book my fastpasses.

Just booked FP+ for all my days (September 15-22). No magicbands though...hoping those pop in later for customization. Staying at Pop and AoA.

Options seemed pretty limited but I will go back to see if I can select Wishes later as it wasn't an option when I was in there (a lot of things weren't).

Important thing I guess is that I feel happy about everything I did get, was very easy to move the times around, and if everything ends up exactly as it is right now I know I will have a great, relaxing sort of trip.

I feel like the number of FP+ selections were plenty for me. September isn't a busy time and between the FP+ selections, rope drop, and EMHs I have no worries about being able to do everything I want at a very relaxed pace.

Do you have park tix linked to the reservation? (If you have a package, even if it's with your BWI stay they should have linked automatically- mine did). The fastpass + system will only allow you to book fastpasses for as many days as you have linked tix for.

They're going to have to roll it out to more people eventually, might as well start small and work your way up. Changing the way things work is kind of the point.

The good thing about FP+ is that Disney can anticipate crowd levels for a certain attraction on a certain day and basically use FP+ to redirect people to other ends of the parks or other attractions, based on the FP+ availability they release to guests.


In case I am not mistaken, the guests using FP+ will not be able to access FP 1.0 because they will have a Magicband instead of a KttW card. Which can only mean more availability.

I was able to make FP+ selections today too! Question, where are we able to choose magic bands? Will something special pop up? Also, are we sure we can double dip with regular FP-? How?
