Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

for those who are doing Ghost Ressie i have a question a friend of mines wants to do the same exact thing do a reservation then cancel once she gets her magic bands have you guys/gals had any problem with fp+ being deactivated from your accounts.
 
There are some people who've played around with making and canceling ghost reservations on MDE, but I'm not aware of a single person who's posted that they canceled the reservation after getting the bands and then reported on their experience in the parks. I have a "ghost" reservation that I am paying for and not canceling, and I think that is risky enough because I'm really not sure what's going to happen. But we will go with the flow.

We are doing a split stay during Magic Band testing, but our split has us staying at Bonnet Creek first and then Beach Club Villas second. We'll have the bands already when we arrive, but since we don't check into a testing resort until Sept 25th, I can't make any FP+ reservations for the first part of the week.

My question is, that since my AP are linked, do you think I could go to guest relations in the park and find a MB expert and get them activated early? If I already have the band, and the linked ticket media, I don't see why I couldn't make FP+ reservations.

I do plan on using my MB to enter the parks on the first half of our trip, because it is so much easier than cards. I wonder if FP+ would go live if I just used the MB to enter the park?

Your guess is as good as anyone's at this point. Technically, yes you could do it, but maybe not yet because it's still in testing and only available for guests staying at test resorts.

Does the address show up on the MDE website? (click on your Magicbands order to see the details) https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/bands-cards/

If not, you can call the Disney tech support number (407) 939-7765

I'm pretty sure I put our current address when I ordered our bands. However, last night I noticed it had our old address as our shipping address. So I just want to make sure since we check in in 15 days.

Does it have your old address as your shipping address in another part of the site, or on the Magicbands page itself?

It's possible to change your shipping address for the Magicbands but still have a different (old) address on your profile page. Changing your Magicbands shipping address doesn't affect the address listed in your profile.
 
Well, I've had our Magic Bands for nearly a week...Just now, I received my email invitation from Disney to participate in a new survey! It is 17 days until we arrive! :laughing:
 
Has anyone had any trouble with MDE app the last couple of days. I've been trying to adjust my FP+ times yesterday and today on the app and it keeps saying "there is a blip in the system, please try again." Haven't gotten this before, it has been working fine. Any thoughts before I call IT?
 
So I customized my magic bands about a week ago and it says they are being customized and will ship soon. Today I had my travel agent add my 8 month old daughter to the reservation, she was originally not going with us but due to SEVERE separation anxiety she is, and MDE then prompted me to customize her band. I find this strange because she doesn't need a ticket and is not eligible for MyMagic+. Has anyone else had a magic band issued to someone under 3.

Yes, DD who is 2 and YDS who is 9MO are both getting bands. It's kind of like how they always got KTTW cards to. I think they may unlock the doors but that's about it...
 
For those who have received your bands, how long after you customized them did they take to ship? Thanks!

Ours were on our doorstep two days after the final customization date. I customized on Monday and they were delivered on Wednesday. :goodvibes

I customized almost 2 wks ago...I got an email w a tracking # that says it should b here 2mrw!
 
Got a shipping notice this morning. When I click to track it it says ups does not recognize the number?!? Now I'm nervous!!

That could be for 2 reasons:
1. The tracking number was generated but the package was not pick up from the shipper yet so not further information is available
Or
2. Ups picked it up and then it was given to USPS to be delivered

Mrs. Lightyear is correct....that's the message I get when I put the tracking number in. I customized on Friday.
