Who makes the best seared tuna (my husband's favorite)? We are going to stay at the GF and will at least go to MK and Epcot and are looking for some good restaurants. Thanks!
I had the tuna at the Kona Cafe for dinner during our trip in August. It was very good (I love it rare, the way it should be eaten). All the other food for our meal was also very good. I really recomment this restaruant for the tuna. Service was also very good.
This is what I saw on the menu at the Brown Derby in MGM. LOOKS GOOD!
"Sesame-Seared Yellowfin Tuna Cobb with avocado, chives, and cucumber, tossed in wasabi vinaigrette with sweet and spicy noodles $16.99"
Wolfgang Puck had a real nice one in DTD...........I didn't have it but my buddy did and it looked real nice.........Mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Food!!!!!!!!!!!
A few weeks ago I had the seared ahi tuna at Spoodles on the Boardwalk. It was prepared very well with just the right combination of spices on the outside. It was one of my favorite entrees on the trip. DH had the tuna at the Brown Derby and he was crazy about it. He said it was cooked perfectly. I know I've had it at the Flying Fish before and at the California Grill on previous trips. I can't remember too much about those, but since they don't stand out in my mind, I'd have to say they were just okay.
The seared tuna at the California Grill is very nice ... The waitress said that I could have the kitchen cook it completely but I said I'd rather have it rare/raw on the inside.
