I am hoping that come this summer and after our relocation to do some work from home and I have been reading about hiremymom.com. Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, you care to share?

Same here, but they have rec'd good reviews, etc. in various reputable magazines, etc., but I am looking for first hand knowledge. I emailed them for some info and rec'd a "canned" response...which I didn't like either. Any advice/suggestions on other services out there for stay at home based work. Not sales stuff, but more contract type services. I am a professional paralegal, but would like to work from home on "projects" if I can.

Have you looked at rat race rebellion? They have links to various home jobs. There isn't a cost to sign up. I think that they have a message board as well.

I've read numerous times that you shouldn't have to pay to work from home. Clark Howard has info on reputable places to work from home on his website.

You should never pay to get info on work at home jobs.

I have a work at home job but its not projects or anything like that. It's customer service and isn't available in all states. With my job you don't even get to choose your company they choose it for you. I like my job although I don't work much (my own choosing mostly). It's flexible and easy.

Anything you have to pay to get info on working from home or to pay to work from home is backwards and not right.
