Agreed! Some cruise lines stop in the Azores, and my Princess TA (to northern Europe) stopped in Bermuda.

Really? They are not expecting to release past Aug 2014 until next year??? Ie. past Jan 2014? That makes no sense. We are waiting to book a Oct 2014 cruise...

I'm guessing it's a longer Med cruise. The schedule shows a weekly stop for June and Aug. Some would prefer more than just 7 nts, 10-12 night itineraries. who knows?

How long is the break in the middle? Disney Baltic cruises totaled 4, 12 days each.

The number of weeks missing from the villefranche schedule would allow time for a few Baltic cruises. If there was an 8/9 night repo from Barcelona to Dover there could be two 12 night baltics then another 8/9 night repo back. Probably unlikely but I would like to do the repo cruises. I can only hope.

I'm not sure, but I thought the repo cruises were 7 days last time. I can't remember though.

In 2010 at least one of the was definitely an 8 night, I can remember pricing it but we couldn't make it.

I understand wanting different ports, I could think of a few changes, myself! But, Madeira is one of my favorite places in the world, I hope they keep it for at least 2014 (if DCL goes back).

I've just been reading on another website that the Magic has been spotted on the Dover port schedule for summer 2014? Apologies if this has been discussed already on this thread - I haven't checked in in a while

I've got everything crossed for a Baltics. We were planning on doing a Baltics cruise for June 2015 with another line and Tokyo for September 2014 but would be very tempted to swap those two around if I could get on a Disney ship to the Baltics

Not sure if it's appropriate to mention other forums, but if you google "2014 dover port disney magic forum" you'll eventually find another conversation discussing any evidence suggesting Dover. Bottom line is there's no hard evidence such as port schedules to suggest the Magic is in Dover next yr, since the Dover schedule isn't out that far. But there should be enough time between the June and August Villefrance stops to squeeze in repo cruises up to dover and a couple of Baltic cruises. One thing to think about is it would be rather odd if the Magic is sailing out of Barcelona during July but not stopping in Villefrance. That's a major port, and I don't think they've ever skipped it. So unless they are slingshotting across the Med for some more in depth Greek cruises, saling up to the Baltic seems more likely.

When I first saw the gap in the Villefranche schedule , my first thought was the Eastern med, too. But with the economic situation still a bit iffy in Greece, and unrest in Egypt and Syria making a Holy Land itinerary very unlikely, I think those hoping for a Baltic option may have reason to get their hopes up.

Hmm the poster on the cruise forum I was on has now taken it down. Seems like she thinks she may have been mistaken.

I don't want to mention the forum sorry because I believe it is against the Dis's rules and this is my favourite forum so don't want to get into trouble

My wild guess is they will do two 12 night Baltics similar to 2010 with of course two repo cruises. It's been mentioned that they could do 7 night cruises, but that seems unlikely as that would rule out St Petersburg - a big draw for Baltic cruisers.
