Any room discounts for Poly Aug 5-7th 2011

Hey! I'm trying to find out if there are any room discounts for staying at the Polynesian Resort for 2 nights, Aug 5-7th 2011. Anyone know how to get a cheaper rate than $410 per night??? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Do you have an AP (Annual Pass)? If so, Mousesavers shows:

For check ins 6/3/11-8/13/11 20%-35% off Annual Passholder room-only rates became available on 5/9/11, exp 8/13/11

Sorry to say it looks like you just missed the general public discount for your date :

For check ins 5/29/11-8/13/11 25%-30% off room-only discount for general public became available on 5/1/11, exp 5/28/11 (ohhh expired only 4 days ago!)

Keep watching for new discounts though - you never know what will come up, especially the way they're doing discounts this year

(BTW I know it's not the Poly, but the Dolphin has rooms starting at $169 for your dates )

Yes, I live in NC but I am a DVC member so not sure if there are any discounts for being with DVC. I know I can purchase Annual Passes at the FL discount price but not sure about room rates.

Unless they changed the rules recently you should be able to book the AP discount by phone and just show the pass when you check-in. You do not have to have the AP to make the reservation. (just checked they have garden view for $287 night)

Thanks! You're exactly right! I decided to just call and see if there were any specials and I was able to make the reservation on the phone and let them know I'd have an AP when I checked in. 30% discount on the rooom!
