Any ROFR news?

From what I've heard, the Orlando properties have a bottom line of $72/point before Disney will exerices ROFR. Hilton Head is a question mark. Two of my friends had bought Vero Beach packages for less than $66 and they were both snagged by Disney.

It's probably best to pay $72 or $73 for the Orlando locations.

We passed!

I found out earlier today but couldn't post until now.

BWV $73 per point on 150 point. 30 point now. Seller paid maintance on the 120 points they used. We paid closing costs!

We are very excited.

Pat also said all of hers passed but one.

Just thought I would share that we passe ROFR today got the call about 4:30pm.

Details,

Went to disney 8/17 $72 pp 200 points September use year buyer paid mf and closing costs seller paid $100 tranfer fee.

doesnt it look like yesterday was BWV day at Disney? ... i started thinking this when we were waiting ... i think they go through the contracts in batches ...
trying to give some sense to it while sitting on pins and needles

I have to say that I've suddenly become much less obsessed about my contract and much more obsessed with watching the weather channel . This hurricane is a living, breathing nightmare of a monster. I'm so concerned for everyone living in Florida. What a shame! I can't believe this is happening to them again. It certainly puts everything into perspective.

Anyway....thoughts, prayers and pixie dust to anyone who lives in Florida or who has family there . I also feel so sorry for folks who are on vacation or planned to head down over Labor Day weekend! Stay safe everyone!!!!

As for ROFR....I'm guessing that we won't hear until this awful hurricane situation is over and clean-up takes place. It looks as if Orlando will definitely be dealing with strong winds and heavy rains at the very least.

After nearly a full month, our contract passed Disney's ROFR on August 19th.

BWV, 150 pts, June use year, $72 point. 2004 points were available, along with an assortment of reservation points and holding points (I have the impression that the sellers had two outstanding reservations, ran into financial problems and had to cancel -- one within 60 days). We paid MF on regular 2004 points and closing.

Just closed......WHEW!

Might as well add myself to the list although I just went into the ROFR process yesterday.
Details:
50 pts VWL FEB UY 50 points available now $75 per point. I was thinking of counter-offering but I really want this one especially with the points available now. I'll let you know when I hear.
