Any Rides that Scare You??

That was it, the Alien ride!! Scared me terribly!

I can ride any rollercoaster with no fear, but those rides are so much...

No doubt one of those screams you hear on ITTBAB is me, and if I ever go on it again will still be me, lol.

I am sure the people working the Dinosaur ride get some great laughs from some of the pictures they get, mine was horrific!

Dinosaur is definitely the most terrifying ride in WDW. The old alien encounter was scary too. I went on Dinosaur with my niece when she was about five, and it wasn't pretty.

I have come full circle in the 18 years since my first visit (at 30 years old).
On my first visit, I don't think that I tackled much more than the carousel and the tea cups. Fast forward to our last trip in April........I conquered the Hulk at IOA. Did this ride twice, eyes open and arms up!!!!
Go figure.:confused3

Soarin. I hate being up high, and then swaying and tilting, without having a bar in front of me to hang on to. That seat belt just doesn't seem substantial enough! I rode Soarin a few times, the last 2 times with my eyes shut. I won't go on it again!

I am soooo glad that someone else feels the same way. DH laughs at me and thinks I'm over reacting to what he calls the 'tamest ride in WDW'. :goodvibes

Definitely Dinosaur... but its also my favourite so i'll keep riding, and crying :lmao:

I'm with you on Dinosaur 100%. The first tie I went on it (at 19) I was bawling my eyes out, and screaming like a child. My friends thought it was hilarious. ;) They eventually got me to go on it again a few weeks later, and since we both figured it wouldn't be so bad the second time, I would be fine. Wrong! I knew where everything was, so it made it worse.

Now, I should admit, it's one of my favorite rides, and I have no idea why. Maybe because it feels like a challenge? At least I don't cry anymore :lmao: But every time Ive been on it, the other guests with us always think it's hilarious. And a few times the CMs there have asked if I'm all right afterwards :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Mission Space. I was all chocked up and couldn't breathe, got sick and was eyeballing the barf bag.

If I ever ride it again (yeah - glutton for punishment but I refuse to let my oldest kids beat me on a ride :rotfl2:), I will probably take allergy meds first so I can breathe. Heck, I may need a vallium for my claustrophobia as well.

Nothing else scares me.

I didn't like ITTBAB at all, I wasn't scared exactly, it was just unpleasant.

I haven't been on Mission Space yet as it wasn't open last time we visited, and I am a little bit scared of it - I will ride the less intense side and see how I feel, I'm worried it will make me throw up and ruin the whole day!

:sad2:er, umm...Dumbo. :confused3 Seriously, Dumbo scares the bejeezus out of me and DD! Last summer I took DD for her very first trip to WDW (I hadn't been in years), we were so excited for her first ride to be Dumbo. The whole time we both felt as though we were going to fall out of the little door opening on the ride. All around us toddlers were blissfully shouting at the wonder of riding Dumbo while we were literally white knuckled and green.:lmao: I'll take EE anyday over Dumbo

none of the rides really scare me, except maybe ITTBAB because of my spider phobia, though I will go in for DS & just close my eyes at that part, lol. Some I just don't like - mostly water rides, lol. I don't have any desire to get that wet.

Dinosaur - I have been on it 15+ times....and have never had my eyes open. I close them as soon as we leave the launch area.

I only go on for my kids.

There are a couple...

TOT...I've never gone on, I keep chickening out.

RONRC...I went on once and the take off took my breath away, I'm afraid to go back.

Mission Space...I don't know why, just never gone on

tough to be a bug!!! its not a ride but a show. I hate it when they have the wasp or bees and it pokes hard on your back or at the end when "extra bugs leave first" and you feel it on your bum. not fun.

Haunted Mansion just because one time i rode it and the ride stopped working and we were stuck at a part where the ghost head keeps popping up right in front of us. i just got my phone out and and started facebook posting. the bright side i had reception!

I've never been on Everest but, I just cannot STAND going backwards plus going up a hill at the same time.... it's not even the drop at the end that scares me :scared1:

Test Track scares me so much. I went on it w/ DH a few years ago because for some reason, I thought I could handle it again. The very first time I rode it, back when it opened, I loved it. Either I changed or the ride changed since then because this was the only ride that caused me to shed tears as soon as it stopped and was over. My DH laughed at me because in our car, the CM had to seat a 10 year old in between us and the little boy was telling me how great the ride was and here I was, super terrified. I felt like a loser.

I scared DH on Alien back in the day, he had never been on it and at one point I touched his leg, I thought he was going to jump through the roof :rotfl:

TOT scares me....not the actual drop sequence but the whole part leading up to it with the ghosts. I have a mini panic attack every time. :lmao:
