I am a grown woman and am really not too afraid of rides, but there are a few rides that I just can't handle at Disney:

Dinosaur - It was so jerky and the very end just scared the heck out of me!

It's Tough to be a Bug - For some reason I become a big baby when things are touching me or being sprayed at me.

Stitch's Great Escape - I cannot remember what this used to be, but it scared me then and for the same reasons as It's Tough to be a Bug.

I can ride the rollercoasters and ToT all day long, but these 3 rides I gladly sit out with my youngest =P.

Any rides that still scare you as an adult??

Not at Disney. My first ride on Astro Orbiter threw me a bit. I spent the whole ride looking at the cables and waiting for them to snap. Otherwise, I've been fine.

The rides that scare me are Ferris Wheels :scared1: and the one with the swings. I can ride any roller coaster they can make, but have to white-knuckle my way through heart palpatations on ferris wheels. I stopped doing them.

It's Tough to Be a Bug scares the crap out of me and obviously every kid at Disney World judging from the screams.

Splash Mountain used to scare me. I was always terrified on log flume rides because you have nothing keeping you in the boat. My dad really wanted to ride it when it opened and I got so freaked out because my butt came off the seat on the big drop and all I had was a handle on the seat in front of me. I refused to go on it again for a long time. Since they added the lap bars, it doesn't scare me anymore. This last vacation was the first time I ever enjoyed it and even wanted to go on it again.

I used to be terrified of Space Mountain, but I rode it and actually loved it last time we were at WDW.

Now that fear is transferring itself to RnR and EE. DH is hoping to get me on RnR on our upcoming trip, but I don't know how many teams of horses it's going to take. :scared:

I'm another one that can't stand ITTBAB. No way, no how do I like any creepy crawlies crawling all over my feet :scared:. I was the same way with Honey I Shrunk the Audience :scared1:.

I don't get scared on rides. But I did scream the first time I rode Dinosaur. The one that comes out of no where and I think it is where the ride takes a picture of you as well. Its pretty damn funny though.

I am so glad I am not the only adult that struggles with It's Tough to be a Bug, my youngest (was nearly 4) was crying and I felt the exact same way as him.... I know that will be one he and I avoid this next trip, lol.

Nope. No rides scare me. I've always been a bit of a daredevil and I just love the thrill rides as well as all the others. I don't care for overly jerky rides, but that's more of a comfort thing I guess. I LOVE It's Tough to be a Bug! One of my favs.

Nope, nothing scares me there. All of the rides are so toned down compared to other theme parks... even Rocknrollercoaster seems to be less scary to me than Barnstormer :confused3 lol... after we visited Universal I feel like I can conquer anything!

Mission Space - I hate anything that throws you back with G-Force (or simulated G-Force). It makes me feel like I'm choking and I avoid any rides like that!

I'm a CHICKEN! It is sad to admit I'm almost 34 & afraid of haunted mansion & DINOSAUR scares the bejesus out of me!!! Alien was scary too :(

The first time I rode dinosaur it scared me at the end, the pic was pretty funny :goodvibes

You are the same as me! I can't take ITTBAB and Dinosaur, I hate when things pop out at me! I haven't done Stitch in a few years, but I love the other "thrill" rides

Currently at WDW I can't think of any rides that scare me. Back before Stitch, Alien Encounter scared me a little, and after all the reports on here I freaked myself out the first time I rode mission space.

Astro Orbiter. I had nail marks in my palms from holding on so tight. I thought the seat belts were flimsy & our then 3 year old son kept making us go higher and I thought he was going to fall out. I've never been on it since.

Before I met my DH I was a total wimp, in UK theme parks I barely went on anything and was always the designated bag holder.

My first memory of a Disney Park is crying my eyes on BTMR in Paris at the age of 13.

Since then I've gotten a little better. There was a time when I wouldn't ride EE, Space Mountain, RnRc & ToT - now EE and ToT are my 2 fave rides in Disney.

Sometimes for me it's better when there queue is minimal and then I don't have to think about the ride itself. I still get nervous but I can overcome it.

The only ride I will not do ever again at WDW is Soarin. I almost had a panic attack on that ride. I genuinely felt like I was about the fall out of my seat.

As much as I like Dinosaur the bit where one of them roars loudly and runs after you makes me panic (yes, I am aware their not real :rotfl:). It's just so loud and I don't like having things dash in my direction. It is a funny ride though!

None of the attractions scare me. Now are there attractions I don't do for COMFORT issues? Oh, yeah. I won't do the rapids in AK. I just have no desire, in DECEMBER, to be THAT wet. LOL I tend to avoid BTMRR (at DLR) because EVERY time I ride it, I end up with a bruise on my thigh the size of a tennis ball, but I will ride it ONCE at WDW just to check it off the list. LOL I haven't done ToT because I know that drop rides like that can trigger a migraine for me, but I'm considering trying it as the last ride of the day, again, just to say I've done it. Dinosaur and Indiana Jones (DLR) are pretty much the same and I've done them both, but will probably pass on Dino on this trip due to how "jerky" it is. I could ride RnRc and Space ALL. DAY. LONG. I ♥ those rollercoasters. I've done the Bug show at AK and don't need to do it again. It wasn't "scary" per se, but it isn't an experience I want to repeat. My 5 year old niece and nephew, however, were recently quite frightened by Micky's Philharmagic. Go figure. LOL

I hated Mission:Space (green side!). As soon as the door clanged shut I started to get a claustrophobic panic attack - and I don't have claustrophobia! I had to stare at a little red light and count to 20 over & over just to keep myself from losing it completely. I guess I won't be going into space any time soon.

Hated Dinosaur- the herky-jerkey cars made me feel like my fillings were going to fall out. I don't remember being afraid of the dinosaurs, just wishing that the ride would be over already.

On the other hand, I LOVE It's Tough to be a Bug! It's such a clever show and the people screaming (face it, most are "fun" screaming from the special effects) just add to my enjoyment. We love to see first-timers (as we lean forward in our seats with our feet off the floor) and watch their reactions.
