Well, my two boys, my 10 year's old hair grows at a very fast rate, I say about a inch and 1/2 a month. I've been taking him to the hair stylist about every 5 weeks for a good cut cuz I don't want his hair too long.
On the other hand, my 4.5 year old son's hair has only grown 1 INCH from the early summer when it was a crew cut.
Is there any medical explanation that anyone has read or come across? It's the same with my 10 year old's fingernails, just grows so much faster.

Luckily I am the one who cuts it or we would be spending some SERIOUS cash on haircuts. Mine grows pretty fast. I just donated 10-11 inches of hair to Locks of Love back in May of last year and it is almost long enough to donate that much again.
