Any reviews on D-Rex?

Last year DD (6) begged for a D-Rex and my MIL said she would get it for her for Christmas. Well, when she went shopping she decided Spike the dinosaur was cuter and got him instead. DD hardly plays with it because he doesn't really do much. This year she is asking for D-Rex again. Toys R Us has it on sale for $129. That is a lot of money for us this year but I am willing to spend it if it is going to be something she plays with. Anyone have a D-Rex? Just wondering if it is as interactive as they make it sound. I would hate to buy it and have another dino sitting around the house. At least he isn't as big as Spike.
