We are considering purchasing a day pass in March during our stop in Nassau aboard the Disney Dream. From the website, the Fins Up Water Park at Margaritaville Beach Resort in Nassau is $59 plus tax for Adults | $25 plus tax for Children (12 years and under). Looks like a much cheaper option than Baha Mar or Atlantis, albeit the water park looks a lot smaller than those.

From the website: "Splash around the lazy river, speed through the water slides, challenge yourself on the 10 foot dive board or relax in one of our many oceanfront pools at the Fins Up Water Park where there is fun for everyone!"

I don't know if links are allowed but if you go to Google and type in Royal Caribbean Blog Margaritaville Nassau, I remember reading a pretty good review of someone who went to Margaritaville back in December. I don't remember it being that cheap but I do remember that they wrote about their thoughts and what was included and plenty of pictures!

There is a good video on you tube, I don't know if links are allowed, so google: I went to Margaritaville Beach Resort/DIY Cruise Shore Excursion/Nassau, The Bahamas

We are planning on going soon, and like that you can walk there, and can wait to purchase it based on the weather 👍

Yes, I found two videos on YouTube, but both were light on details. For example, supposedly you get a credit for food, but it's not clear how much. I'd also love to see pricing on the menu.

I was debating on walking. If it was just adults, I'd be fine walking it. I think we may try a taxi with my 10 and 7-year old children.

When I first looked at their website about a month ago, it talked about a food credit, but now their site just lists the $59 and makes no mention of the food credit. We are two adults, but it says it is about an 11 minute walk from the pier, so that's not too bad. You might have trouble walking back with little ones, although it looks like it goes right past a Dairy Queen 👍🙂
The video I referenced did a really good job of showing off the inside including the store and little market, as well as the pools and beach.

We did a day pass (through Resort For A Day) about six weeks ago. It was nice, clean, and not overly crowded that particular day since when we got to Nassau, we were surprisingly the only ship there initially - and only one other ship showed up a couple of hours later (we're used to 5 or 6 ships in Nassau). Seemed most of the other people there were locals with day passes. I'm guessing the fact it was a Saturday had a lot to do with that. Referring to it as "Water Park" is a bit of a stretch IMO. There's a nice lazy river, a handful of slides, and a cliff jump (i think about 15 feet). Food and drinks were fine and as you would expect, a bit over-priced. There's also a decent beach area. We would do it again. We did B2B cruises on the Wish, so we went to Nassau twice. We did Margaritaville the second time around. The first time we did the Pearl Island with Cabana excursion through DCL. I would choose going back to Margaritaville over the Pearl Island excursion for sure.

Yes, we went on a Tuesday in March. I would highly recommend going for the price. No, it's not a water park, but it's a great price for a relaxing day at the pool with water slides, lazy river, and beach access. Plus, its really close to the port which is really convenient.

Here is a quick mini-review:

We got there around 11:00 am after a 30-minute walk from the port. It was a nice day, so I was okay to walk vs. taking a cab. The walk felt safe and it was easy to find since you are staying along the roads near the beach. When we got the Fins Up, there were plenty of chairs to pick from, although some of the better ones have already been taken. For a Tuesday, it was crowded, but not in a way that impacted our experience.

It was 79° F when we came, and the water was colder than I would have liked. My two kids (ages 10 & 7) didn't complain at all about the water temperature, but definitely to cold for me. I got in once or twice to appease the kids, but I was out pretty quickly.

The lazy river is fun, the slides are fun, and they have a big 10-ft cliff jump into an deep pool that both of my kids enjoyed. They also have a wave surfing pool where kids can boogie board (my 10-year-old kept getting back in line for that one for over an hour). The rock climbing wall was not open when we were there. The beach looked incredibly busy. We didn't go down there because we knew we had castaway key the next day.

The bill for lunch was $42, which included an auto 15% gratuity as well as 10% VAT. We got the chips and fish and the chicken fingers. Both were serviceable, not fantastic, but kids liked it, especially when you got barbecue, ranch, etc.
