Any reputable places online to get a used laptop?

I'm really wanting a macbook but can't afford a new one. I am saddled to this outdated desktop that needs to go. I know apple products last and I'm thinking a used or refurbished one that is only a year or two old will suit me just fine. Any advice on this?

Also, it doesn't "HAVE" to be a mac, I'm willing to consider all brands.

Have you tried the Apple site for a refurbished Mac? Or other stores for refurbished computers, like Radio Shack, Best Buy, NewEgg, Tiger Direct, MicroCenter, etc? All websites - just add .com and remove any spacing.

Being as all brands are being considered... My Husband got a steal on a refurb laptop from Dell through the dell outlet website... Happy shopping!
