We will be eating at LTT for the first time in November. I was looking for any recent reviews. We have never eaten here and thought with the characters leaving in January it was now or never... so we choose it for Novermber. :goodvibes

We've only eaten there for lunch one year, we'll be doing dinner this year.
My BIL got the pilgrims feast and loved it.
I had the colony salad and loved it
My SIL had the pot roast and loved it.
THe kids and my wife ate kids stuff and liked it.

I've only eaten there for lunch but I liked it. I had the turkey/stuffing/mashed potatoes which is a part of what they serve at night. The poster above is correct that some of the food is by Stouffer's. I think restaurant is cute inside as well. It's definitely one of those places you have to do at least once.

We were last there in November 2004, so my review is a little dated, but from what I understand, the menu is the same. The food was okay. I'm pretty sure the mac-n-cheese is Stouffer's. It was like Thanksgiving food.

I love LTT. You are definitely there more for the characters than for the food. The food's okay and not bad by any means but the characters were great. I really wish we could take our twins there this year, but it's all booked up. I'm jealous you get to go before the character dinner is gone for good.

Have fun.

you pay $30 for stoffers frozen dinner food.

Make that bad Stouffer's food! The food is really gross! The restaurant is very loud and congested. The characters were good, but the noise level was deafening. We went once and still regret it.

As in any dining review - to each his own...

We're going back in October as its DD, 12 favorite "must do" place - but then she does like plain simple food, and she enjoys the atmosphere - I think she also notices how the characters interact with all, and she doesnt feel "out of place" getting their autographs or hugs!

So I cant argue with "frozen stoeffers" but I will say all the reviews I've poured over in this area have rated the Mac and Cheese as NEVER AGAIN, exception being LTT!! Hope that still is true!! Because I dont have a problem with the food we had there last year! I do have a problem with WDW messin with the mac and cheese!! lol To each their own!!

(oh, and we will also enjoy our return meals at Cali Grill and Le Cellier, et el We're not just about simple food in other words!)

My daughter &i went 2 wks ago we loved it the charactors were great food was good for dinner the lady in charge of charactors was wonderful came round several times to ask if every thing ok if we needed abything we will go again Nov:cool1: :cool1:

wow.. i'm totally bummed to be hearing all this :( we will be going the night we are at mnsshp and i'm now afraid to be taking up precious mnsshp time with a crappy dinner :( is lunch any better?

No worries. You will love Liberty Tree Tavern. We have been there three times for dinner with our family and we all love it. We don't love the mac and cheese, but everything else was wonderful. Enjoy

WE like the restaurant. If my memory serves me correctly, I didn't think it was noisy. Then again, it was a year ago.

We like the food. It is nice to have the typical foods we eat--not homemade at LTT that we are use to but good.

Me and my dd went on 8/16 and we absolutely loved it. I was really surprised considering the reviews I had read on here. We liked everything but the mac and cheese which someone else mentioned. I left there stuffed. It is noisy but so are most character meals. Definitely give it a try! :thumbsup2

My kids also dislike the mac and cheese, this trip we are doing Chip& Dale at GG for dinner and there menu shows mac and cheese as well, does anyone know if they are all the same in all restaurants?

Yes, the mac n cheese at GG is the same. The rest of the food is good there though!

My family and I love LTT Character Dining. It is a must do each year. My DS who is 8 and my DH both love the food, I personally think that it is good not great but good. To me, this is the best location for character dining because the characters take their time at each table and are not hurried along.

So, if you are mainly going for the characters you will be pleasantly surprised and should enjoy it. However, if you are going only for the food, you might be disappointed.

But keep in mind, that the LTT Character Dining is going away the first of January. So try it once, it will probably be the only time between now and then that you will get to experience it as it currently is.

We have never been either, but as pp said, this is probably the last chance to go to LTT with the characters. We want to try it just for tht reason.

Thanks for all the replies... We do want to try it before the characters are gone in January.... so LTT it is. :)

We will be there the week prior to Thanksgiving so the food will be appropriate.

Happy Planning everyone! :)

when i called tonight to try and switch my LTT to a lunch ressie the CM sai that not only were there no times available all day, but that they were actually over booked:confused3 how is that possible?
