We just got back today. We were on the Magic that ended its cruise yesterday. We went in a week early and did a few days in London and Paris. It as really hot in Paris and from what the shutters photographer told me, it was really hot 2 weeks ago at all the ports. We lucked out and it cooled off a lot for us this past week. We had low 80f each day in all the ports. We did Disney excursions each port day and every stop in Italy the tour guides warned us to watch our stuff. They all wore backpacks on their front, not on the back and told us before we walked into some of the crowded areas to again watch you belongings. Did the half day to Pompeii and then walked around Naples on our own. Pizza was amazing.
The only rain we had was in Florence. Was sunny all day and about four as we were going to meet up with our bus a thunderstorm rolled in. A lot of street vendors that were trying to sell water or trinkets switched to ponchos and umbrellas. The gold and platinum gift had an umbrella in it and we just happened to have it that day.
On Deparkation day, we did the half day to Monserett that you book once on board, and we really enjoyed it. Walked in the church for about an hour then spend two hours walking the trails in the hills and the views were amazing. They have a small market that was really good. It dropped us off at the airport around 12:45. I would recommend that tour if your flights allow it.
