I'm going to DLP with my parents in Feb 2013. We'll be staying for 4 nights and I'm planning to be at the park for the whole 5 days. However, my parents aren't Disney nuts, and will probably spend a bit of time at the parks, and a bit of time in Paris. I think they (especially Dad) would be overwhelmed with a Disney hotel, but none of us want to have to contend with a shuttle, so I've been looking at the Val d'Europe hotels.
We all think Hotel L'Elysse looks lovely, and seems to be in a very convenient location supposedly just across the road from the train station. I've read some reviews on Trip Advisor which seem ok, but I'm really after some feedback specifically with reference to DLP. It doesn't seem to be that popular for DISers and I'm wondering what the reasons are.
I'm definitely considering getting an AP for myself, but my parents will probably just get tickets for 2 or 3 days. And we're not big breakfast eaters, so not fussed about not having it included. We'll be happy grabbing something from a bakery or cafe on the way, then maybe a coffee and a Disney treat for morning tea
