Any recent experiences with early morning drop off at BWI?

I'm looking to get some feedback on recent attempts to drop off at BWI using a private vehicle. I've heard conflicting reports on how viable this is as an option, with the recent parking changes.

For background, we'll be visiting in a couple months (staying at CSR), and have a planned family photoshoot in the boardwalk area on an early Monday morning. Since we'll be traveling with my parents, and they will have a vehicle, we had planned to have them drop us off at BWI, and then they will leave BWI, and continue on to HS to park and get in line for our eventual park day at HS. DW, DS, and I would then get our photos, and walk over to HS to meet my parents. Is this still allowed, or will we be turned away at the BWI parking gate? Note that the added wrinkle is that our son will be in a car seat, so taking an uber is out since we'd have to lug his car seat around during the photo shoot and to HS.

Any recent experiences would be appreciated.

Ask at the Guard Shack. If they say no, dad over to the Swan or Beach Club. Or edit the vehicle right near the Guard shack.

If you have to, you can get dropped off at the gate and walk into the resort. It’s not very far from the guard shack to the steps down to the Boardwalk.

Yes, this is still allowed. You will have no issues.

We were dropped off twice, without any reservation of any sort, over Valentine's week. No questions by the guard at all

Thanks you all for the replies! Swan/Dolphin are an excellent backup plan I hadn't considered.
