How are you liking it? DD20 is a jr. in college and DS18 is a freshman in college. DD comes home sometimes on weekends as she goes to a state school, but we've only seen DS once for parents' weekend and won't see him again until Thanksgiving.
His school is 8 hrs. away.
To be honest, I kind of like the quiet of it just being DH and I. The best part is not having to come right home from work and cook dinner, etc. Heck, DH and I have been know to just eat leftovers, eggs or cereal for dinner once in awhile. Something I could never do before.
I also love having the computer to myself as well as the TV (sometimes). I do, of course, miss them a lot but I'm really starting to get used to this.
Anyone else?

Glad to hear things are going well, TimeforMe. It has been a bittersweet experience. Sometimes I get this gnawing ache of missing my kids, especially if I haven't seen them in a while. Sometimes that feeling is tinged with worry, and that is when I know I need a good visit. But I do like the flexibility and freedom it brings. I find I have so much more time in the evenings, and even though mealtimes are quiet, they are good.
